Happy for Palace They were my favourite Championship side

Watford looked crap, and Palace deserved the victory, and with it the stupid amount of cash that goes with it.

Though without several new players, I don't see much hope for them...

Aaron Wilbraham in the Premier League for the second time. There's hope for my top-flight career yet. He's barely good enough for League One.

Zaha's end product is hopeless.

Quite similar by the looks of him to Ronaldo when we first got him.

To many tricks, poor passes and poor end product.

He played a couple of sweet passes today tbf, that one to Wilbraham when he hit it straight at Almunia and I think it was him who bent one wonderfully round the defence to set Phillips free.

I'm sure he'll do well at United.

Both sides looked poor today. Can't see Palace doing well next season without serious investment.

New owners being introduced tomorrow. Heard many rumours but I'll wait until I finally get to see a club statement,

In other news: Phil Picken damaged his knee in a gym accident today, which means he'll miss the entire 2013/14 season (he missed the majority of the 2012/13 season). This leaves us with 7 first team players. 1-3-2 seems to be our new tactic

Bye Bye Palace, Hull and Cardiff from this thread.

Cardiff might have a chance to stay up but I think Hull and Crystal Palace especially will go straight back to Championship.

I've never thought his passing and end product was too bad.

Infact I've been impressed with his willingness to take on a man and get a cross in when he gets himself into a game, which is something that none of our wingers have really done this year.

I don't mind him taking on a man and putting crosses in, not one bit, just when I've seen him it looks like he attempts to beat his man 2-3 times and then put a cross in. The times I've seen him some of his basic passes have been off the mark often, though in saying that I've probably seen 10 games this season with him playing so it could just be the games I'm watching.

- Stewart Day confirmed as new chairman (Stewart is a property entrepreneur and a lifelong Bury fan)
- Our loan has been paid and our transfer embargo lifted
- We will appoint a head scout as part of our new scouting policy which will consist of 30 scouts
- KB came out with a statement on the club's website which says that he's been given full authority to bring in a good calibre of players and the right depth into the squad
- All season ticket prices have been lowered (£200 for adults, £100 for Under 23's £60 for Under 16's)
- Match day prices have been cut aswell. Maximum price is £15 for an adult

Glad everything has been sorted. Now it's time to get in some players as we only have 7 players left.

Owen Garvan has been given a new contract by Crystal Palace.

Hopefully he'll get a go in the Ireland side as of August/September.

Kenny Jackett is the new Wolves manager, still hard to believe Wolves are in League one now.

I can't wait until we stuff the piss stained shirts at the Bescot. :p

I think Hull have the best chance of the new boys. Palace in particular look doomed, but Cardiff still need one or two players.

Saying that I have said "they're doomed" about Norwich, Swansea and Southampton. So shows what I know.

They have firmly wedged that self-destruct bottom. Would much rather have O'Driscoll (who is incidentally a Wolves fan!).

It's likely I'll be going to some of the Midlands away games for Bristol City so I'll probably go for Wolves, Walsall, Cov, Notts County, Peterborough and MK Dons at a push. Which ones I choose will be based on a myriad of reasons (and also if the games fall after I've moved to Leicester in late September).
