Shetland Islands Database help required

So after years of mild tinkering i decided to start a big project and add a Shetland league to the game. i've worked through a lot of issues and the database now effectively works. However my regens are broken. When setting this up i essentially rebranded Andorra as Shetland changing absolutely everything as far as even adding pinpoint accurate coordinates for a plethora of shetland towns. However all my regens are generating with spanish/french names and ethnicities, as well as a lot of foreign regens from africa. i have created a new shetland language and replaced the spanish/french/catalan ones andorra has, ive changed the region to uk and ireland and then northern europe to try and fix things and no results. is there something hard coded im missing? ive seen databases of this ilk that have replaced one country with another using the same method and those regens had geographically accurate names. what am i missing? should also mention that most of these regens are generating with spanish/french/portugese second nationality

Ironically Shetland is one of the databases I am/will be working on myself. Currently doing the Isle of Wight at the moment. I have great interest in the Island Games so I am working through all of the nations there as well as all the others in the database little by little. A thankless task I assure you. Anyway, have you changed the languages of the nation, the region and the cities? That would probably be a big part. You'll also need to make sure you've changed all of the cities, clubs and regions to your Shetland nation (Based Nation if they play outside of Shetland.) Yeah its been a challenge, the idea of an island games database is really cool i hope you get on well with it, as you can see ive done as much as i could think to do (inhabitants range greatly exaggerated because i thought that the small populations might have been causing issues) and no luck.

I'll have a play around and see what I can find. @TheModelCitizen has an Island Games Database and they are the main reason I got into the whole thing but I plan on slowly working through each of the countries and adding what I can. Problem with some of the smaller islands is they don't have their own domestic system, but it will be a good thing to test with. If memory serves they also did work on a Catalan database so they might have some insight for you.
