FM24 League Updates

Hi, have you managed to find a way to change the format of the UEFA CL, EL and Conference League to reflect this season? Many thanks

Hi, thanks for the great update! One thing I found:

Wisla Krakow was wrongly assigned to Conference League, while they started in Europa League Qualification

Not sure what I'm doing wrong in set up, but using the start date and data update, loans and contracts are wrong. For example Koki Saito has just joined QPR on loan, but his loan ends when the window opens in June if I start in May, only a few weeks before. Does the data update not sync up with a different start date?

Hi can you update slovak league, Petrzalka is not in the first leauge also Michalovce they weren't relegated, Ruzomberok is playing 1 round of Europe League as winner of Slovnaft cup=domestic cup

Hi everyone,

I don't know if you can help me but when I try to launch a game with the new database, as soon as the database is loaded my PC crashes. I've tried with the basic game and I have no problems. I think it's coming from one of the updated files but I don't know which one and there are more than 30 of them. Do you have an idea or not?

I'd firstly delete all the files and then put them back in, if this doesn't resolve it I must advise that you do not use ANY other files with the update as they may clash (though that should not cause a PC crash).

@AntD_1 is reporting that Lille are listed as 5th rather than 4th so they're not qualifying for the Champions League?

Yes because Lille finished 4th last season and since this year the 4th in Ligue 1 has made the preliminary rounds of the Champions League @TheMinsterman 

@TheMinsterman Turkish teams' European qualifying rounds not updated. They are still playing in last year's ucl and uel qualifying rounds. Please fix it.

At present there is no workable way to get the competitions working in the new format and I am afraid that this means I have done the best to put teams into the previous brackets, I am sorry this is not accurate and trust me I hate how hard SI make editting the European competitions every year but it is not within my capability to make it work any better, the game simply will not accept it.

Due to complications with how the game reacts to changes to European competitions and the added issues of the format changes in real life I sadly have to put teams in where the game will accept them, this regrettably means Lille cannot enter as the fourth team in the CL as the previous season which is the structure in the game only 3 entered, this is not something I have found (or anybody else to my knowledge) a work around for as things stand.

I aren't happy about it either but sadly its a compromise I have to make to get changes in that even partly reflect new entrants into Europe.

bro please Türkiye 2, league update league teams. Teams like Elazigspor are in this league.

Is it possible to update Turkish League Rules for foreign players? The rules were updated in July 2024. It would be such a big help, there are some mods around the internet but it doesn't work with sortitoutsi database. :')

What is Lokomotiv Gomel (Belarus) doing in the Bulgarian second league?

Also the Bulgarian second league from this season has 20 teams, not 18.

Missing teams are as follows: CSKA-Sofia 2nd team, Botev Plovdiv 2nd team, Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa.

When using the leagues update files and starting the game at the end of the first season, this problem appears. How can it be fixed?

There are several files in the data-update, which one is the one for europe 2024/25?

Is there a guide for whatever changes/meanings there are of the different files?

There is no fix mate as the game starts in the wrong year for this season, you’re going to get a duplicate winner for the first season in the records but the newest will be classed as the latest.

Hey, can you please update greek super league 2 teams? There was no changes to this league except for teams moving up to super league

I will look into further updates given the recent news regarding FM25.

Where there are structural changes it takes a bit more to get it to work correctly due to the changes, if I can I will update where possible.

Turkish League changes back to old rules 1 year later. Is there a solution for this?
