Instructions
- Save into your FM23 folder's Editor folder
- After you've loaded the game's database when you create a new game (not quick start), select this editor file. If you have other editor files, I'd recommend installing this one at the bottom of the list as it should supersede others where there is a conflict.
This should be loaded up at the very end of all other updates. This update is really just for summer transfers and managerial moves, but it should be a sizable update.
- west ham should be much better now - manager, backroom staff, luis guilherme created etc
- most global managerial appointments
- some of the January 2023 ‘future’ transfers (from the game's perspective) due to kick in from the start now
- English, Spanish and Italian promotions and relegations should all be up-to-date (although this seems buggy right now with a couple of teams not moving for some reason, very frustrating - happy if someone who's got this to work before would reach out to me to collaborate…)
- most major transfers around the world (please comment if you note any omissions, I do check this and will release a new version if there is demand)
- should contain real name fixes also for clubs, leagues, and players as a bonus :-)

They aren't summer 24 signings. This is only this summer's signings.
I think previous editor updates should fix that if you run them before this one. As I said… :-)

Download, put it in editor files, and run on full game start. Run it at end of previous ones as this will only update for this summer.

Also, they were on the file, just they were only to take place in January, as I believe in real life that's when you got them, January 2023.
In any case, the new version has them all from the beginning, you'll be pleased to know :-)

It's for FM23. Just look for Football Manager 2023 instead of Football Manager 2024 when you are inserting it into the folder. It's super simple. Add it to the file, and load it up on game start.

Thank you. However, other than Pompey now in the Championship not one single update to the playing squad appears to have happened. Am I missing something or is this not a transfer update file.

Please read the description. ‘Major’ transfers. Premier league transfers and world transfers. Apologies - when Portsmouth are back in the Premier League, we can discuss if you see errors. Until then, time is unfortunately limited and I can't go down all the divisions with every free transfer ever made… :-)
Feel free to build on mine with the Championship and League 1 and League 2 and Vanarama updates… It will be really exciting, I can't wait! Then you can have someone from Slough Town or something in the Vanarama asking where the update file is to his $50 a week major transfer signing.
