Troubleshooting Football Manager Data Update Installation - How to install Football Manager Databases

Not familiar with Mac, but anyway: 

“Preferences” > Search for “Location”… is it pointing to the right folder? 

Mac was weird with installing FM24 and automatically did it within a “Public” folder as opposed to “Library." I switched the file path to include that public part within the advanced settings of the game, and it seems to have fixed the issue!

I can't get this thing to work. I have done everything that is supposed to fix the problem. The editor data files are still not showing up when I want to start a new career. 

My sports interactive file keeps showing up in my public folder when I start the game up again, even after I delete the file and place the exact same in the library/application support folder.

I have set the path of the files like this: /Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data

So I guess the problem is that every time I start the game up it automatically puts the sports interactive folder in public. Can anybody please help me with this?? 

If that's not the problem is there anything else I can do??

Thank you for the research but unfortunately it still hasn't worked out. It's like my files are invisible in the library and it keeps placing new folders in my public one. And that's where the problem is, I think.

Is it just the latest updated fmf file that we have to move to the editor data file, when downloading the database for the 1st time?

Can you all tell me which files will not work with Daveincid's increased realism mod?

Why are we not getting a latest update data for mobile. Will this work for mobile?

Try as I might, seems as though this is a bit of a no-go for mac. I've put it into the correct folder and triple checked it, but I can't get it to recognise more databases. No point me adding a screenshot as it's the same as the others where nothing is showing up.

I'm also on steam, dk if that's making a difference?

On the off chance, can someone who has it working on mac send a screenshot of were you put the fmfs?

For the people who have trouble on Mac via the Epic Store, I managed to make it work like this : 

• I created a folder in my desktop
• Put the “Football Manager 2024” folder in it
• Then in the preferences I changed the location for this folder
• I restarted the game and the files were found when I started a new career

On a MacBook and having trouble…here's what my 1) editor data folder and 2) game looks like

sorry to disturb this forum I'm on Mac and awful with computers in general been trying for 3 weeks to use the sortitout update. I can't wait til march is there any chance anyone could help me. I'm even will to pay I've watched a million YouTube videos and still don't get how to update on the Mac.

Hello guys, I am using a Mac. I am putting FMF files into the data editor, but the game is not updated. Can people who are MAC users support me if they did it?

@Harun Furkan can you please confirm you're putting them into the right place and have checked the common mistakes in first post.

/Users/yourname/Public/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data BAD

/Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data GOOD

You can find the right spot easily by following these 3 simple steps

1) Open Finder

2) Click “Go” from the menubar and select “Go to Folder” (alternatively press Shift+CMD+G)

3) Copy in the following: ~/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024

I put this Update in C:\Users\*****\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data but I have 2 problems:

1. France's CFA isn't playable;
2. All League's Hall of Fame doubles 2023/24 winners.
