There is even more wrong. Reality has two Aleksa Maras'. The history is mixed up with the real goalkeeper and the real striker. The age from the goalkeeper is right, but the striker is younger. In fact the striker plays for Botev. The goalkeeper has no club (at least not known) since 2022.

@PaniMeister can you please not spam the same thing in loads of places every 10 minutes, just post it once and have some god damn patience that someone will respond when they get a chance

well in the first inmage are the files of the data update that i tic to enable a new save as you can see the non dynamic data is ticed (3)

the issue is starting a new season as you can see i am at sept24 the player is free to sign and when you are going to see his history you can see that the player had play after PSG to Santos he is free and never played at al hilal ……

Hi, with the 24-25 update  its possible to just use the upgrade transfers from players and staff and dont use the others addons as league promotions etc?

Edvard Tagseth (28116269) - Nashville either gets put on a free transfers or sold when you start the season. Hes only just gone there and is important to their squad. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Yes, this is possible. The download itself consists of numerous files - separated out into different functions.

The promotions/relegations are included in individual files containing the name of the country/region with and, in most cases, a suffix of ‘(league)’. For example, “Classic FM - Austria (League).fmf” (or ‘sortitoutsi.net Data Update - Austria (League).fmf’). If you disable these files, your game should not reflect promotions/relegations.

If easier to think about it in terms of what to leave enabled, you'll want to leave the file ending ‘+1 Age and Contract Years.fmf’, ‘Changes.fmf’ in, as well as ‘New Players.fmf’, ‘Remove Bans.fmf’, ‘Remove Injuries.fmf’, ‘Remove Media Predictions.fmf’, ‘Transfer Clauses.fmf’ and ‘Transfer Values.fmf’.

First off all thanks for the reply. I tryed to leaving just enable the changes fmf file because its just only the update squads right? New players consist in new youth players? And what is the remove media predtictions, transfer clauses and transfer values files do? If i bought the paid version could i just use the non dynamic stats updated for the players its there a file for this? Thanks again

I was not able to find him. As of very recently, there is a new function that allows members of the community to submit new players. They won't be added to the DB immediately - there is still a moderation phase that needs to be finalised, but submitting him will ensure he is added to the list to be reviewed. If you go to https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/contribute and then click ‘Add New Youth Player’ it'll step you through the form.

I see that he is in the DB and, since November 2024, has been returned to a role of Player. Can you explain a little further what you believe is wrong?

Would it be possible to update Cristiano Ronaldo's career goals so that we have a chance to reach the 1000 official career goals, like he is doing?

In my last savegame I had him score  66 goals (66 matches) in the first season; 59 goals (55 matches) in the 2nd season; and 41 goals (38 matches) in the 3rd season, before ending his career, which would have him reach this amount easily, but his playing history only gave him around 600 goals.

I'm trying to add young Japanese league players (under 18), like Mihiro Sato, who have played one match in the J1 League for Kashima. But I'm having trouble figuring out how to determine their Current Ability (CA) and Potential Ability (PA). Can anyone help or give an example of how to estimate CA and PA for young players?

Or, If this isn't the right place to talk about this, where should I discuss it?

Sorry, after the latest data update (19 Mar 2025 11:34:32), I noticed that some players don't match what's shown in the 'FM24 Data Update' search feature. For example, Svend Brodersen is still listed in Yokohama, but in the search feature, he's already in Okayama. How can I fix this? Or should I just wait for the next update?

Looking at the specific example (https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/person/91158197), I can't see any evidence that any changes have been made to that player by the Data Update. The original details show him at Okayama and the Data Update lists him, also, at Okayama. There's no history of changes being enabled, either.

If he is showing as playing for Yokohama in your game - is it possible there is another enabled file that is causing this?

I think there might be some weird issues with player transfers for Japanese clubs. Here is one I've noticed before: Samuel Gustafson https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/person/93038219

Even though the data input is correct showing him in Urawa. He is still always at his previous club in Sweden BK Häcken. I need to use the in-game editor to transfer him to Urawa. 

Don't know if this applies only for tranfers in/to Japan. These types of issues have happened before, it was FM22 i think: for example Gervinho to Aris Saloniki had this exact problem. Everything was correct data-wise, but he still remained at Trabzonspor. This was the case for a while, until it suddenly got right. Never got any clarity to that issue and if you guys found any error on your end?

After I check. My data editor folder only has the latest data update file, the real name fix file, and the stadium improvements file, and that's it.

In my case, Samuel Gustafson is already in Urawa in the latest update. However, some players, like Svend Bordersen, still haven't changed teams, and some players, like Aleksandar Čavrić, aren't showing up at all, even though he should be in Kashima based on the data from this site.

Hopefully, this can be fixed later.

San Diego is not in the game by default, therefore Sortitoutsi changes cannot apply. You will need a mod that both adds San Diego and does the transfers to that unique ID that San Diego has been given.

TMC has a USA league mod that adds San Diego and some transfers and upcoming transfers, sadly it hasn't been updated since december. Renskay also has a similar mod with more frequent and recent updates. So just choose one of those 🙂
