@KOCIE  Kocie, please don’t overdo it with these cuts — you’re about to cut off even the chin. This is too much. Always leave a bit of the player’s neck. Also, by making such a tight crop, you’ve made the image less sharp, grainy, and the colors look more washed out... is it really worth it? I don’t think so. I understand the good intentions, but in trying to improve it, you end up making it worse.
Thank you.

Perhaps you should keep in mind the guideline to crop much closer to the chin than in your original cut 😉

@Cizzu thx

if I can get the original source, maybe the result will be better
I see the neck is too long more than 2pixels , usually only 1-2 pixels, as far as I know on this forum,
I just shorten it, so if you share the source with the best resolution, I would be better off cutting it
The neck is too long, making it not in sync with the existing images,
I'm sorry if you are offended, I just follow the rules in the forum, and you have a long neck on several occasions

and i know, you can be better at cutting than me, let alone just a trivial matter of raising the collar and neck,

this is not a skill issue for you, i believe that

sorry peace smile and ROCK and ROLL brother 🙏

@KOCIE  No worries, I’m not offended at all!
It’s just that I’m not a big fan of cuts that are so close to the chin. If you like, I’m happy to explain why.

The forum guidelines suggest that the cut should always include a small piece of the shirt collar. So when the neck is completely cut off and you add just a bit of the shirt, you’re actually shortening everyone’s neck. And you know — people naturally have different neck lengths, some longer, some shorter. I just don’t think it’s right to make everyone look the same, as if they all had short or almost no neck at all.

Plus, I believe a little flexibility is always a good thing. Redoing a cut just because there are one or two extra pixels of neck seems more like a matter of personal obsession than about truly following the guidelines. 😅

When I work on cuts, I also follow my own little set of guidelines and aesthetic preferences. For example, when it comes to dark-skinned players, I like to keep their natural skin tone. Mons, on the other hand, often tends to lighten them — but I never go around darkening all the cuts Mons makes of black players. 😆
