Please use better sites for downloads. The sites used are those that require a premium membership and this limits download speeds to 1 MB/s per second. Why don't you use sites like gofile etc.?
Footygamer
It totally depends on which sites make it easy for us in terms of things like remote/api uploads, not deleting files, unlimited bandwidth etc.
You can see straight away that GoFile isn't appropriate. They are limited to 100GB on the free tier, that means only 10 people can download the cut out faces per month.
After that we'd have to pay $2 per TB. We supply 2-12 Petabytes per month depending on the month, that would be between $2,000 and $12,000 per month.
We can't pay that sort of crazy money so people can get it for free.
We do host files without these 3rd party services but we still need money to pay for that, we ask for 83p a month which is far less than you'll find anywhere in the world.
If you know of somewhere cheaper please let me know and we'll start using them.
But if you can't then you can see the problem.

You are very right about the fees, I don't have a problem with that, but it really seems a bit ridiculous that hosting sites give speeds of 0.6 mb per second (for freedlink) and 0.06 mb per second (for dfiles) without a premium membership. The total packages are easy to download as they are often provided via torrent, but does it make sense to wait 68 minutes to download a 150 mb update file? I'm not talking about the sortitoutsi membership system, that's your right and I have nothing against it, but the speed values of the hosting sites are really terrible and it's frustrating. Thank you for understanding and responding.
I can suggest you try pcloud. Thank you for replying again.

I just looked at PCloud and again it would cost us $1 for each person that downloaded the cut out megapack. If you consider that many people download many megapacks and for some reason download more than once (failed download/reinstall/whatever), we would probably wind up paying $10 per user. We have millions of users, that's obviously unfeasible.

You may forget that hosting that amount of stuff (for a hoster) will also cost a lot of money. So they can only exist if people want to download stuff faster and buy premium memberships. It is their business to sell them. In case of free content it should not be the provider (in this case sortitoutsi.net) to pay for faster downloads.
