Is it possible to add Sheffield Wednesday's new transfer restriction into the game?
Belfemor
hi, with the promotion of raal la louvière in 1rst belgian division, their statut will be “professionnel”,not semi pro. and lokeren, olympic charleroi, in second belgian division will be “professionnel” too. in the 3rd division (eerste klasse amateurs), ostende will be “amateur” or “semi pro” but the club have disapear in real life :-) also, raal la louvière have a new stadium (EASI Arena with 8050 places). i dont know if its possible to modify that
M.C
An update on all global club transfer restrictions is in the works - I am hopeful to finish it today/tomorrow and then integrate it into the Data Update.
The amendments to club statuses will be something that we can try and do as part of the ‘second round’ of amendments to Belgium. As you'll be aware, Belgium has a level of complexity due to recent structural changes to the league system - the intention is to replicate those, but we've concentrated on getting as many of the nations tackled, first, as a priority. The plan is to loop back to do the more complex ones in the near future.
Regarding the stadium changes - there is also a plan to add a file to the Data Update that is dedicated to updating stadium information for exactly situations like RAAL La Louvière. Again, this may take some time - but it's on the list!

Not sure if this is the correct place to flag Extinct clubs, but a few in the SI database are now extinct and others have returned to formal pyramid leagues in Scotland. Came across these as I was adding lower league player updates all the way down the pyramid.
Loch Ness (Now Extinct)
Peebles Rovers (Season in Abeyance from all football - only announced this week, effectively extinct for game purposes in terms of a 2025/26 update albeit abeyance leaves the door open to return next season)
Broomhill (Now Extinct, as of this summer)
Upper Annandale (Now playing in amateur leagues, so not technically extinct, but are now outwith the Scottish Pyramid structure as they have withdrawn from the South of Scotland league due to compliance issues)
For all of the above, I have moved all players to their new clubs or released players given the clubs are not functioning.
There are two reinstated Clubs that are shown as extinct in the game database (can add players via update but adding to what are regarded as extinct clubs)
Inverness Thistle (are in the database as extinct, reformed, now back in lower leagues for 2025/26)
Hall Russell United (are in the database as extinct, have been active throughout 24/25 and still active in 25/26, but were previously in abeyance when SI released the last game)
New Clubs in the Scottish pyramid (thanks MC for adding to the Scottish file)

Thanks for flagging, these - I will iterate the club statuses you've pointed out into the file. No harm in having it all as accurate as possible!

FC Tutankhamun or FC Tut (I can't remember the spelling) in Egypt are now called FC Masar and are part of the RTD echo system (Nordsjaelland, RTD Ghana, San Diego FC)

Hello! We should expect a change of ownership at Dagenham & Redbridge FC with the arrival of the Sheikhs?

Hello moderation team, In both the original game and the data update, the club name "Muş 1984 Muşspor" is used. However, this club changed its name ahead of the 2024–25 season and is now called "Muş Spor Kulübü". I would really appreciate it if you could update the name in the data update. Thank you.
I’ve provided evidence below (from Transfermarkt and the official website of the Turkish Football Federation):

Hi, just subscribed to the update pack as wanted the latest version of Nottingham Forest but slightly disappointed with their Reputation being only 3 stars still as could be at least 3½ - 4 after the season we had, the finances being really poor after sales of Elanga, Danillo, etc and we've been promoted to the Europa League now but still in Conference league
M.C
Just my two cents on the above - and this is not intended as an excuse, just an honest appraisal of where things are at:
1. Whilst that's a subjective matter, it's a valid point - and there are plenty of examples where a club's reputational increase/decline (over the past two seasons) is quite significant (clubs who have suffered back-to-back promotions or relegations spring to mind).
To set your expectations: there is no ‘reputation scaling’ built into the Data Update, by default, at the moment. On the to-do list is doing a pass of this in an automated way, but it hasn't materialised yet. I think it's fair to say that a manual approach would be difficult to do, just purely based on resources/time available - but we'll look at how we could go about this.
2. Again, there's no automated method for finances/transfer budgets to be updated in the Data Update based on real-world activity (this would probably be ideal). Transfer budgets/finances are a tricky one, especially in the middle of an active transfer window (in the sense that they fluctuate based on club activity). Very recently, we have established a method for the staff to adjust finances-by-club in a simple way; but I just don't think there's been a chance to actually do those updates. As I'm sure you can imagine, reflecting the changes on a daily basis as a result of transfer activity would be quite a job - especially to cover multiple nations/divisions. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a great addition to the Data Update - just that it's hard to achieve and keep updated on a daily basis.
3. The European qualification will get corrected. The staff have been hard at work updating league consistutions for 2025/26 across all playable leagues and the nuanced changes (for example, the fairly unique changes of qualification between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest) necessitate us to circle back to a file previously updated. Again, it's just a matter of timing. I'm making a point of updating the European qualification file today, so it should be integrated in the update from tomorrow with corrected qualifications.
M.C
…and just on the note of #3, above: I have now iterated the European registrations files and uploaded it. From tomorrow, the Data Update will have Nottingham Forest in the Europa League and Crystal Palace in the Europa Conference League.
M.C
Just wanted to acknowledge this - alongside the ongoing work to get all playable leagues updated for 2025/26, I have started work on a ‘general data’ update, too. Things like club names would go into this. I can't commit to a timeline, but consider FC Masar on the list!
As above, the same goes for Muş Spor Kulübü. However, I will probably iterate the change in the dedicated Türkiye (League) file, as that is typically where I include club name changes for playable leagues.
It is worth noting that if the popular ‘Real Name Fix’ file has an entry for the club using the old name (for either club) then any change made on the Data Update won't overwrite that.

Italian Serie C Brescia and Feralpisalò merge New team now in Serie C: Union Brescia The Brescia players have all left, some without a team. Are you working on this update? The Italian Serie C groups will be announced tomorrow. Thank you

Szombathelyi MÁV Haladás VSE now goes by "Szombathelyi Haladás", as they replaced Szombathelyi Haladás (1056), and not sponsored by MÁV anymore, or part of the VSE organisation. Instead of “HVSE” it should be “Haladás”.
And for the home matches they use Haladás Sportkomplexum, not Haladás Sporttelep (Kondics út).
As for personnel changes the Chairperson should be changed to Director, who is “Zsolt Keringer”

Hello,
Sorry for the bad english, i hope you understand what iam trying to say 😉
FC Empoli viewers attendance is in the Database at 73k. So the Club value is also very high and they build a new stadium every savegame.
@Transfermarkt.com the season average attendance for the last one was 10.782 and the max attendance should also be not anywhere near 73k.
when it´s not the right section in the forum, pls let me know where to post it
Thx and Best regards

Hello,
Championship: This message aims to provide information about the situation of certain French clubs that are not in the correct division in the database. First of all, AC Ajaccio is no longer in Ligue 2 but in National, or even in a regional division depending on the decisions of the DNCG. Then, FC Martigues is not in National 1 but in Regional 1. Also, Nîmes Olympique is ultimately not in Regional 1 but in National 2. Finally, La Berrichonne de Châteauroux is not in National 2 but in National 1.
M.C
Thanks for flagging these - I am just curious, are these divisional changes the result of recent decisions/punishments/administrative situations with those clubs? Or did the file simply contain mistakes?
I am asking as I was the one that made the France file and I am just keen to know whether I simply ‘got it wrong’ or whether things have changed since I made the file.
Either way, I have added it to my list and I will correct anything that is needed.
Arthur André
The division changes are due, for some clubs, to sanctions from the DNCG because of poor financial situations (AC Ajaccio and FC Martigues), which allowed other teams to be reinstated, such as Châteauroux. And finally, Nîmes underwent a change of president, which enabled them to avoid DNCG sanctions and retain their place in the National division.
I'm not sure if my explanations are clear, but in any case, I thank you for your responsiveness and I truly admire your phenomenal work.

I have a question about the new Everton stadium. They are playing their new stadium from season 25/26 if i am right. Will this be updated with this update?
