Hi guys, is it possible to delete the newly created Noah Maboulou from 1.FC Nürnberg? He is already in the default game and therefore shows up twice when starting a save. Regards

Fixed, thanks for flagging, should be sorted in the update that is released on Sunday, as the update is locked at a set time each day in terms of file generation, so it will be Sunday's before you see the fix in place. 

Neville Ogidi Nwankwo needs his position changed. In FM he's a CM, should he should be a DC that can also play DR.

Van Spor Football Club, which appears as a team in the Turkish 2nd League White Group, was actually promoted to the Turkish 1st League last month. In the game, the club's president is listed as "Feyat Kıyak," but the president changed exactly one year ago, on July 19, 2024, and is now "Erol Temel." Since I don’t know how to update the club officials, I’m writing it here. I would appreciate it if you could update it. Thank you. Van Spor FK are in the Trendyol 1. Lig in the latest versions of the update (indeed, any versions since the 2025/26 update for Turkey was released). This was a file I made, recently, so it may be that you haven't downloaded a version since then?

I've just checked it to be sure and can see Van Spor amongst the promoted teams.

With respect to changing the Chairman/President, the existing one can be removed by updating his record via https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/person/2000248583. Unfortunately, I do not believe the current Chairman/President exists in the database so putting him in place is not as straightforward.

As a result of a recent change in the submissions system, there was a small period during which some changes (submitted by the community), when moderated/approved, were resulting in a second instance of the player being created. All three of the players you mentioned were caused by this.

I have now taken care of the duplicates for these three - if you, or anyone else, spots any other duplicates, please do report them.

Anyone know why some changes in the data update result in the players photo disappearing?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but where can I submit changes to a player's position? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Hello few Hong Kong players are missing from the update after transferring to Chinese leagues including Ma Hei Wai, Ng Yu Hei, Alexander Jojo, Raphael Merkies and Clement Benhaddouche. Can somebody add them back to the game? Thank you so much.

Just downloaded the database yesterday with a lot of brand new transfer moves in july transfer window 2025, excellent work! BUT I find Anders Dreyer from Denmark on a free transfer moved to Panathinaikos in Greece in my new save. He's on a contract in MLS club San Diego FC and has been there for about a half year.

Please delete the less detailed version of newly created Luca Horst from Nürnberg II. I created a more detailed version of him without noticing you are also able to change a newly created player created by someone else, so there are now two versions of him. Regards

Hello, I noticed that there are two separate profiles in the game for a non-player named "Serkan Zaimoğlu," and both represent the same person at the same club. This cannot be a case of name similarity, as the club is from my city and I personally know the individual in real life. You can also tell from the photos. Thanks. Here are the links:

Both instances were created by SI as part of the official game. The first in your list was removed by SI at some stage in the update cycle. Are you seeing two in game, or only here when searching the database? The database here includes players/people from previous versions of the game not in the current game. As long as there is only one ‘in game’ then no need to worry.

Hi, thanks for raising. I am not sure what is going on with this player, as I can replicate the issue you describe. I don't have time to check the editor today, in case, for some reason, SI pulled him from their database via an update at some point, but I don't know the wider history of the player or why this may have been the case. Hopefully, tonight or tomorrow, I can load the original database and most recent via the editor to check he is there. If he is, we will need to look into it. If he isn't, then he will need to be added to the update, which I can look at if needed. Unfortunately, I can't get to it today.

Most of the contracts are wrong. Most of the players who signed for free seem to have been transferred for absurd amounts, like Nelson, Semedo, Kyle Walker Peters, Leroy Sane etc. and this is just the Turkish league. This changes a lot of things

Thanks for flagging - I actually think that this has been addressed already, as of a couple of days ago. Looking at the history of submissions for this player, it appears a rogue/exaggerated submission got through/was approved, causing him to be a world-level superstar straight away. I can see a more appropriate/modest submission has since been approved.

For any version of the Data Update downloaded from 12th August onwards, I'd expect him to be at a normal/expected ability level.
