All teams from the National League,National League North and South get 11 players every season and later on every second season in a 4231 formation
220 players for each team, players are English,Scottish,Welsh,Irish or Northern Irish (randomized evenly per squad)
every season the players coming in are slightly better than previous seasons until the best players come in and then there is a long gap before it repeats but every second season, for the second wave the players will be better than the first wave to help the teams that don't make it out of non league
this will make England the most competitive league in the world, all the current Premier League teams will struggle to stay in the league because all teams will be at a similar level to a team like Real Madrid or PSG
Replace the file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2024\data\database\db\2430\edt\permanent
these changes will be permanent and the players will generate in every save unless you delete the text or put back in the original file
if you cant get it to work make a copy of an original edt file and paste all text in there
or delete all text from the file that you have currently and paste in all the text and save
ONLY WORKS ON NEW SAVES

Is there some way of toning this down?
By that I mean can the regens that come through in later years not be totally overpowered instantly. Seeing a regen at 160/180 generate is insane. Takes away the realism. I'd sooner see them start as 90/180 to at least allow the clubs chance to develop and sell at a better price. Right now all I'm seeing is teams just lowball bidding and having teams stacked.

Yes,cut out the parts you want to change in seperate file and then use the replace tool to replace all “170” to “90” for example and then paste it back in and save it,and the reason it's like that in the first place was it was to help the teams that don't make it out of non league so you could just cut the parts you don't want altogether
