I only seem to have an option down to Vanarama North & South… don't have the option to manage a team under those levels, is that right?
I wanna manage my local team in the Southern League premier…

You have either not selected the lower league database editor file on the set up screen, if the editor file is not showing as an option to select, you have not placed the extracted editor file in the correct FM24 editor data location, as per the download instructions.

Silly question - is it possible for this to work with the FM24 Data Update? Assuming it isn't as looks like there's two English data files (1 for this DB plus the other for the league changes in the higher up leagues) which I guess clash.
M.C
That’s correct - you will need to sacrifice the England league update that is part of this site’s data update, as it can’t be active when this lower league DB is active.

I’ve started a L16 save - Herts Senior County League Div 5.
DONE:
l‘ve compiled all the missing badges and grounds for those six leagues, plus the three Spartan leagues plus kits for the two Isthmian leagues. I’ve run Photoshop to resize them all to the right dimensions.
(I’m not doing kits because it would be so much work to source the right home and away designs then build each kit. Would love to know if there was a repository anywhere…)
TO DO:
Next thing is to map each asset to its UID. I’m doing this by using the Sas skin and cutting and pasting each UID for each club badge and ground into an Excel document.
Then I was going to create 3x badge folders (1 for Herts leagues, 1 for Spartan leagues, 1 for Isthmian leagues) with subfolders for logo and icons, and 3x ground folders (ditto, with subfolders for backgrounds and insides).
My thinking with the file naming was to keep it as the club name rather than the UID because I think I’ve read that the UID numbers can change from save to save (O think I’ve understood that correctly.)
This also allows me to reuse the same asset for multiple badges (first team, reserves, U21 etc etc)
Finally I will use Excel to build a formula to get the right code for the config text file.
Phew.
So I guess my question is…
HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING OR IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO DO IT? 😊
Thank you in advance!

Good work
the only issue you may find is the UIDs will change with each new game you start
michelob9
Thank you 😊
Yeah that was my thinking for keeping the file names as the club name rather than the UID - then at least it’s just a remapping job, not a “renaming a load of image files” job 😬

I have a problem, I move file to correct folder, but game don't see it 😢

When I try to load up a save with just the whole English pyramid down to level 20, the database gets half set up then just doesn’t proceed anymore however the game speed is 4.5 stars and says my computer is more than capable to handle the 20 levels. Just wondering if this is an issue then can be fixed through settings or something like that?

Has anyone done a long term save, say 30-40 years into the game yet? How has the database help up? The only reason I ask is because I did a lower leagues database save back in FM21 and by the year 2035 my u18s team was somehow placed in the National League North.
Anyways, thanks for the database. Will give it a go.

You might need to verify the lower levels - run the file through the pregame editor.
andyinasia
You can check that by running a holiday test before you start up your save.

Is there a version of the Lower League DB with a more recent squad update?
andyinasia
You mean up to date squads for level 20 teams???
BastionTM
Nah, more for squads in level 8 and above. I am mainly looking to be able to play at Level 7 with updated squads.

Haywards Heath 2nd kit doesn't display as the database doesn't create a 2nd kit for them (shows plain black kit). Just use in game editor to add a 2nd kit (yellow and black stripes) to id 29173239

My Editor Data Files are empty even though i downloaded and copied into the correct folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data ? :-(
moonraker65
Any update planned or will you wait until FM 26 ? Won't work with updated 25/26 data files now
M.C
For what it’s worth, to make it work with the SortItOutSI Data Update, you simply need to disable the ‘England (League) file in the update and use this lower-league database for England instead. You won’t have up-to-date promotions/relegations in England, of course - but that is the option that players will need to make.
Those wanting to start in the lower levels of England may not mind as much that the top 4-5 divisions are based on 2023/24.

Is there any ways u can get the league tables but for teams competing in the 25/26 leagues instead of the 23/24 tables?
NewBloodster
You would need to manually go into the Editor and move the teams around.

Hey, do you guys know if a lower league database will be released for FM26 too?
M.C
At this stage, there is no scientific way to answer that question - right now, FM26 is in Early Access and the Pre-Game Editor tool is yet to be released.
The creation of custom databases relies on (a) the release of the Pre-Game Editor tool and (b) creators to do the work to create those custom databases.
That being said, given the popularity of the English football league system, alongside the fact that every year there have been Lower League Databases produced, I think it is highly likely that once the Pre-Game Editor is released, custom databases will follow…and amongst those, it's very likely an English Lower League DB will be produced.

Hi , Im having a problem when I include the Eng Lower leagues LVL 20 database. I unticked the main England one in the pre game editor setup leaving just the lvl 20 one ticked but im getting an error when I try to add the English league during game setup, Red triangle and exclamation saying that the Shropshire County Premier League has 17 teams ( Only 16 found ) ? Any idea ? The following link shows the question and pics in question. Thanks
