I only seem to have an option down to Vanarama North & Southā€¦ don't have the option to manage a team under those levels, is that right?

I wanna manage my local team in the Southern League premierā€¦

You have either not selected the lower league database editor file on the set up screen, if the editor file is not showing as an option to select, you have not placed the extracted editor file in the correct FM24 editor data location, as per the download instructions.

Silly question - is it possible for this to work with the FM24 Data Update? Assuming it isn't as looks like there's two English data files (1 for this DB plus the other for the league changes in the higher up leagues) which I guess clash.

Thatā€™s correct - you will need to sacrifice the England league update that is part of this siteā€™s data update, as it canā€™t be active when this lower league DB is active.

Iā€™ve started a L16 save - Herts Senior County League Div 5.

DONE:

lā€˜ve compiled all the missing badges and grounds for those six leagues, plus the three Spartan leagues plus kits for the two Isthmian leagues. Iā€™ve run Photoshop to resize them all to the right dimensions.

(Iā€™m not doing kits because it would be so much work to source the right home and away designs then build each kit. Would love to know if there was a repository anywhereā€¦)

TO DO:

Next thing is to map each asset to its UID. Iā€™m doing this by using the Sas skin and cutting and pasting each UID for each club badge and ground into an Excel document.

Then I was going to create 3x badge folders (1 for Herts leagues, 1 for Spartan leagues, 1 for Isthmian leagues) with subfolders for logo and icons, and 3x ground folders (ditto, with subfolders for backgrounds and insides).

My thinking with the file naming was to keep it as the club name rather than the UID because I think Iā€™ve read that the UID numbers can change from save to save (O think Iā€™ve understood that correctly.)

This also allows me to reuse the same asset for multiple badges (first team, reserves, U21 etc etc)

Finally I will use Excel to build a formula to get the right code for the config text file.

Phew.

So I guess my question isā€¦

HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING OR IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO DO IT? šŸ˜Š

Thank you in advance!

Good work

the only issue you may find is the UIDs will change with each new game you start

Yeah that was my thinking for keeping the file names as the club name rather than the UID - then at least itā€™s just a remapping job, not a ā€œrenaming a load of image filesā€ job šŸ˜¬
