Update 3 has been launched on the Steam beta track. More bugs killed but for me at least the 3d match play is still a mess. They're saying the 60fps refresh issue has been resolved but if I run it at 60fps or Automatic my GPU runs at 99% with the card fans whizzing away. Setting the refresh rate via the Nvidia Control Panel to 59fps and the GPU usage drops to a 30% average but with some stuttering and screen tearing. For me the situations were eased by setting the Nvidia image scaling to 100% but not cured. This was an issue in FM24 for a while also until they sorted it. As a finished article, it seems FM26 is still very much a work in progress, despite Si having 2 years to get it right. As of now, we paid £40+ to be beta testers ! What have been your experiences ?

even after all the patches (i feel like im being experimented on) the game feels and looks like a cheap console game.
i have downloaded the mobile version to my ipad, and if you added the 3d game then it would be very similar to the PC version.
I am still playing my heavily modded 24 version, and the difference is extreme, the immersion is there, the little things like manager pics, press pics, commentary, cup draws, trophies, stadiums and Flut Skin
even the much heralded match engine is not a major improvement in my view, i prefer the realism of the 24 experience
Appreciate @DashingDaz8 has made a great attempt at a new look, this has helped enormously, but the game lacks substance, realism, call it what you will
to sum up playing FM 26 is like cheating on your long term partner for somebody with no substance or long term enjoyment, but have a firmer pair (being the match engine superficial graphics)

For sure it's a blessing that we have the FM community with the likes of Daz, whose attempt to “polish the turd” is admirable. It's a question of how far can we, or allowed to go, in the pursuit of making a console game into an immersive experience. Flut has all but given up hope of creating any more of his amazing skins and so far, the 3d kit makers don't seem to be showing any interest in creating English or nations leagues kits. I also agree the 3d match engine is no way a “game changer”. Si have had 2 years to create a new generation football management simulation but instead have pandered to the console generation with all style and no substance, cohesion or immersion. It seems most things these days have been dumbed down to the lowest common denominator.

To be honest guys I just can’t play the game anymore.
its needing a whole Ui update which is far beyond my skill level.
i am hoping that our friend @flut decides he can get back into it.
Also as you say the 3d match seems to lack something , it just doesn’t grip me anymore.
i just watch it but do not feel immersed in the game

Been using Daz's hybrid skin but its now crashing which I hadnt had before. I hate 26, but the Hybrid skin gave me some hope

I know I cant get a refund [steam has a 2 hour policy ] SI has said it will take much longer than that to navigate the new UI
SI state-the update contains 200+ fixes it it the 3rd major update the game was not ready for release its a disgrace it is bugged to hell
i have removed it from my desktop

its a disgrace that SI released the game in its unfinished state.
refund policy should start from the date the final patch is released to provide a functioning game
the biggest disgrace of all is the silence from SI, no comment on how poor the game is, rolling out fix after fix is not acceptable
