Our new number 1 is the Slovakian Svoboda who joins from Hoffenheim for 14.5M. At the same time I sold Peter Murphy to Liverpool for 10 M.

Yea, I liked him too. But I feel that Svoboda is a much better keeper, and I couldn't afford to have him as a backup. A 10 million pound profit, is quite alright. It was quite a sad moment when Gardiner left too...

An all around good performance in the first half, in the second - nothing happened.

Decided to stick with the same line up as in the WBA game. But all of a sudden our players looked nervy and without confidence. Adams came in for Özcelik and looked like he never had seen a goal before - passed the ball when he had an open goal from 2 meters.
Paulista celebrated the fact the he is now a Brazilian international by scoring an own goal.
