@Skywalker, not sure it's from the original sources or whether it's something you did to them, but these cuts aren't improvements. They're overly sharpened to an excessive extent. This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element. I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.

If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Don’t worry, I have Photoshop — otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to create Metallic Logos for years (and I wouldn’t be on the staff lol).
As I told Lebohang, the images come directly from the Japanese Federation’s website (https://www.jfa.jp/nadeshikojapan/20251129/member.html), which is less than a month old, featuring the first official photos of the players with the new kit.
The background was removed using Photoshop’s AI (same idea as remove.bg), and I reworked the photos whenever they were too blurry (which wasn’t easy given the original size)

I didn't see the big blue staff icon 🤦

I also didn't see what you told Lebohang, but given the small size of the original source images, they're really hardly worth cutting. Especially when there were recent cuts for plenty of these. Just something to keep in mind for next time 🙂
