FM26 Has Been Updated
FM26 was just updated on March 30th which will have broken many skins so you may have to wait for the author to update this file.
This is a generic message applied to all FM26 Skins, check the comments for more accurate information.
This is the first customized theme/skin for Football Manager 26. Say goodbye to the majority of the game’s purple and blue colors. I have also included a new background and new golden UI highlight colors.
Versions and Optional Files:
- MAC COMPUTERS: With the help of GlasgowAirport, who plays the game on a Mac computer, we achieved to make the files not crash the game when played on Macs. You only just have to select the files that's inside the folder "Mac Version". What we did was, that he send me the files of the game on a Mac computer (that are slightly different than a Windows computer) and I remade the skin using these files for all of you that are playing on a Mac.
- BACKGROUNDS: Unfortunately, due to the way this year’s game works, we can’t have different backgrounds per screen. However, the game does use different backgrounds for licensed competitions (Premier League, EFL competitions, Bundesliga, UEFA competitions, etc.), which appear before matches in those competitions. If you want to see only the main background I’ve chosen, or you prefer to keep dynamic backgrounds only for UEFA competitions, I’ve included some optional files you can use.
Disclaimer:
- At the moment, this year’s themes/skins are created differently from previous versions, and we cannot modify or interfere with the UI. Therefore, I cannot accept requests to change specific elements of it.
- Additionally, because the game is frequently updated and these updates often affect the files we use, there will be regular updates to this theme/skin. On top of that, we’re constantly experimenting to discover how to change and improve more aspects of the game’s visuals.
- If you already have my theme/skin and want to install a newer version, sometimes cached files can cause issues. Please first Verify Files from Steam by right-clicking the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files, restart Steam or even your computer and then install the new version of my theme/skin.

How to install the AlexMorak Theme/Skin:
- Download the file.
- Unzip the file.
- Locate the Game Directory: Navigate to your Football Manager installation directory.
The standard path for Windows is typically:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\
And for Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX
- Before first time locate the original files in the game's data folder and make a backup copy before proceeding. You should see from my files, which files you have to make a backup copy.
- Copy and paste the files into the game directory. When asked, choose to overwrite/replace the existing files.

So is it not possible to see Cities, teams stadiums and training grounds, etc due to the current state of the game? If so that just ruins my immersion altogether. It's kind of boring sitting staring at numbers and words with no pictures of Tottenham Hotspur stadium and some of the city backgrounds. Really silly why they did that.

Hallo, leider werden die Trikots im Hauptmenü noch in der Umkleidekabine erkannt oder angezeigt!? Bitte um Hilfe liegt es am Skin oder an den Trikots? Alles andere Match 3D etc. Funktioniert prima nur Umkleidekabine vorm Anstoß Halbzeitansprache am Spieltag sowie Prematch und Star Menü fehlerhaft.

First of all when you are posting in an international forum or site you should use English. I didn't even translate your message, but from your screenshots you are probably saying about 3d kit etc. This is a known bug of the game, please refer to SI's bug tracking forum.

Hello, unfortunately the kits are still being detected or displayed in the locker room in the main menu. Could you please help me? Is this issue caused by the skin or by the kits? Everything else, such as the 3D match, works perfectly. Only the locker room before kick-off, the half-time team talk on matchday, as well as the pre-match and start menu, are displaying incorrectly.

It's ok, just use English in order to communicate between us. The 3D kits errors displaying total black or pink-ish in the locker room areas etc it's a known bug from the game that currently is unresolved. If you install your 3D kits correctly you should see them correctly during the matches only. After I installed the Theme, the upper horizontal menu does not work and all menus are represented by “Item” word. Why?
The second question - is there a way when recruiting staff to have a view of the list with their nationalities? Otherwise is difficult to recruit the scout.

If you use the theme in 26.0.6 you will be OK. If you installed 26.1.0 via Steam Beta Track the theme will not work until I update it. The theme now works with MacOS and Windows of cource, but on MacOS I cannot support it. Definitely though you are doing something that shouldn't be done and you are seeing this bug.
For any UI changes that you request the answer is the same always. This cannot be done. We don't know how and if we knew, I don't think someone is keen to update these changes too almost every week.
