Using the term soccer in press conferences

It's such a small thing but it drives me nuts, in press conferences in FM26 the have stopped using the term football and started using soccer, 

EG
'Can you make first place your own?

 

'I don't see why not, it will be tough but thats SOCCER'

 

In earlier versions of FM the term used was football and now it has changed to soccer. Any theories on why it is like this or if it can be changed as it really gives me the sh!ts

Use English (UK) as the language instead of English (US).

Yep. that was it. Thanks. I had not thought to check that as it has never defaulted to US before.
