Hey all, haven't found a better place, so I will put it here. What I have found, today, after reinstalling FM completely, is that the Name Fix alongside Data Update has some conflict, and as a consequence, the wonderkids images do not align.

I did a test, and fully reinstalled the game, without name fix, and all fines (except the names, naturally). Funny thing is that, not sure what has been updated in the Real Name Fix 2.0 to misalign player faces.

edit

I will as differently - is there a way to combine real name fixes with data update?

No, there is no conflict at all. The real name fix and the data update can be used in unison without any issues.

The issue is that the file in the real name fix which adds the missing Ajax staff inevitably creates new people, and so the UIDs assigned for the wonderkids facepack are affected. When you have an editor data file which adds people to the game, this will happen, due to the way SI have structured editor data files, and there's nothing to be done about it, bar than manually renaming the entries in the config accordingly.

So you're saying I should include editor data from real name files, understood. Will check.

Still does not work, also I believe the issue is with either dbc/edt/lnc files as the numbers are drafting, not leading. Any clues?

I will ask in a different manner - is it possible to work with Real Names alongside Data Update?

No, that's not what I said at all 😕

No idea what you're saying here, but you cannot add people via dbc, edt and lnc files, so what you're saying is not correct.

Yes, it is, as already said. If you have issues with faces not showing for people added via the data update, that's a completely different matter and has nothing at all to do with the real name fix or the data update.

I repeat what I said previously:

Thanks for your patience, @mons , I'll be more careful explaining.

Did another re-installation and ran the new game with only Data Update, all good, confirmed the ID in editor and in game.  See SS below:

SS only Data Update

But when running Date Update with Name fixes, the ID's are dragging by 13;

It is not that I have an issue that faces are not showing; but that the IDs are drafting, if I use Real Name Fix.

And again, thanks for your patience. I have been using the real name fixes alongside Data Update for a while, and it happens for the first time.

That's exactly what I'm saying @arl3nu 😕

It's neither the data update, nor the real name fix which is the issue, but the facepack specifically created for the people added with the data update. And it's because the UIDs of people added via the pre-game editor aren't fixed, like those in the default db, but variable.

I understand how it works, but was not aware that modifying the db_2600 drops some UID's so the numbers are drafting then. Perhaps another name fix, won't touch these numbers.

All names seem to be working besides Napoli. Any videos available on step by step how to fix this problem?

This is not what is happening, and I don't know where you've got that from. People are added via the pre-game editor in the fmf files within the editor data folder (and not the db_2600 folder, which is not modified in the real name fix), specifically the file creating the missing Ajax staff.
