For the “brands” section, can I request some generic Mitre match balls? Like variations of the Delta Max? Or is there a tutorial to make these myself?

I'm going to add 4-5 balls today and then i can finally release the first version, the pack will include also the leagues covered by the game, in case someone that still plays FM24 would like to use them

Everything seems correct in your screenshot, i suggest you to wait for the new version that i will release later today and try that one.
Better to delete the entire “balls” folder because to extract the new one.

There’s a chance you’ll see some black balls during the game, if you use the entire config file but only few of the pictures in the pack.

The best solution is to “clean” the config file and use only the code lines linked to the .png you would like to use.

The same applies to the National Championship (France - Championnat National) :

I've also adapted this to my personal folders indeed. Since I for example remove the 3d balls that are officially licensed in the game (e.g. Premier League, Eredivisie) and remove all the lines in the config files where there is no existing PNG in the pack (making balls turn black). Feel free to play around with this, or include it.

Included the suggestion above for Coupe de France and Championnat National 1+2 as well as adding ‘3d ball’ at the end of all files to make sure there is no clash with other graphics as this is an issue in FM26.

I am not 100% sure because i didn't test it personally, but FM24 will just ignore the ID inside the config file that aren't existing in-game, theorethically you shouldn't have any sort of problem.

Definitely a great idea, from the next release i'll follow your fixes, and i'll use a better subfolder structures as you did, everything looks cleaner in this way. 

I think I also removed the 4 nations, you could rename the nations folder to leagues and then have a nations folder with those 4. But I didn't think those were necessary for me, that's why they are not in.

Let me know, happy to collaborate further. Never made actual ball textures, but would be willing to invest some time into it.

I see they also have 2d textures in the official files, is that something we could extend it to as well? Do you know what the config would in the xml would be for those? 17x17px in a 32x32 image. SI tags it as _bc, not sure where it would show up. We could for example map them as 3d ball and 2d ball for all available ones.

There's 3 file types to each ball from the official files.
Not sure how to get them to work together though.

Attached the premier league ones as an example

_ao files - white ones. they seem to be the panels / lines on the ball.

_no files - seem to be some sort of texture file

_bc file - these are the normal images we're used to seeing

the big realism thing for me is trying to make an image of 2 balls that actually stitch together perfectly but this is massively hard to do with the images of balls that are available online as you usually only get one side of a ball to use

We could snapshot the 3D image? Not via this tool but we need to get some people involved with the knowledge to do so then.

That actually works perfect. If you click the dropdown and choose ‘FM21 ball’, and upload an official ball from FM26, it works perfect

You guys didn't use this tool so far yet while creating the balls? I think it makes it way easier. But I actually mean we need something that then could snapshot it from different angles. Maybe we can also achieve it in Blender but I don't have the official ball 3d file. Setting up cameras from 3 different angles. I am however a complete noob in this.

Yeah what you need really is something where you could upload 2-3+ images of a ball and it somehow makes it into a 2 image file that we use. Way beyond my capabilities that though
