Iām thrilled to present my Ultimate Matchball Megapack for Football Manager 2024, featuring over +130 3D matchballs crafted to enhance your gaming experience.
This megapack includes a diverse array of matchball designs, with special versions for winter conditions and knockout stages of main competitions.
Whatās Included:
Extensive Collection: Over +130 3D matchballs, for different competitions and seasonal conditions, including winter versions where applicable and unique templates for knockout stages of main competitions, providing a more realistic look for critical matches.
High-Resolution Textures: Textures are in HD where possible. If anyone has high-resolution photos to contribute or improve the current textures, your help would be greatly appreciated!
Highlights:
Inspired and Enhanced: Building upon the excellent work of @bartdude and @JakDevlin , whose previous ā3D Balls Match Packā served as inspiration, Iāve expanded and refined their creations with additional details and variety.
Community Collaboration: Special thanks to @DazS8 for the go-ahead, for a lot of files and support. This pack is a result of our collective effort, and your feedback and suggestions are invaluable. Please share any requests or comments!
Installation Instructions:
-Download the megapack file.
-Extract the āballsā zip file.
-Move the āballsā folder to āDocuments\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics\ā (create any necessary folders if they donāt exist).
-Ensure the āconfigā file is in the āballsā folder.
-Update your game cache via the in-game preferences to see the new matchballs in action.
Note: While many of the balls have been tested, I havenāt had the opportunity to test every single one. Your feedback is crucial, so please let me know if you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement.
Installation Instructions for content inside the alt and brands folder:
If you want to use a matchball that you find inside the alt or the brands folder, simply follow these steps:
-rename the ball you want to substitute adding -OLD at the end of the name (e.g: ENG-premierleague-OLD).
-copy and paste the ball in the main folder (graphics/balls).
-rename what you just copied with the same name that was used for the ball you decided to substitute (e.g: ENG-premierleague).
From the version 1.3, since i have improved file names and config file, YOU NEED TO MAKE A CLEAN INSTALLATION, by deleting the old balls folder, and extracting this new one in āgraphicsā

Great work on updating the balls for the new season. Let's see what FM25 brings on what we can do on it to get these balls into the new game. I'm sure it will be a challenge but hopefully figure a way to do it.

Will it change the colour of balls in 2D mode?

Hi,
The clue is in the title (3d balls) mate.
You will need a seperate pack ofā¦ā¦2d balls to display in that mode, which there is little options around the commumity at this point.
The only pack I know of is by a guy called Crack Victor, his 3d balls pack does include a 2d balls pack also.

Just add it inside the balls folder, it's already in the config file, rename the pic in: SCO-spfl_w.png

Improved (alternative) EPL Summer and Winter match balls. Simply rename the balls to match the config file entry in whatever ball pack you are using.

Hi, thanks for the pack. I want to ask how to find the licensed ball picture like ucl. I extracted the graphics.fmf from the game file and I found the logos and portrait pictures but no 3d balls pictures. Thanks!

Apologies if theres is a simple fix and i'm just being daft but in the scottish leagues when its a cup game the ball is just grey and its hard to see watching the 3D highlights how do I fix this.
