I'm currently halfway through Game Of Thrones S2 and am up-to-speed with Breaking Bad, so am looking for a new series to watch once they're both finished. Any recommendations? I'm thinking either Mad Men or The Sopranos but am open to other ideas.

Both are good, but Sopranos is a masterpiece. Especially from season 3 onwards.

I'm inclined to agree, at least based on what I've seen so far.

Having HBO on-demand right in the TV is awesome. Lots of great series and a decent selection of film.

Other mini-series it's better than:

Generation Kill
Mildred Pierce
State of Play
The Pacific (which I don't think is that good)
Summer Heights High

But those are all mini-series you need to watch, particularly State of Play and Mildred Pierce.

Just finished the first season of Parks & Recreation. I liked it, although it didn't make me laugh an awful lot. I've read that it gets better though so I'll stick with it.

Just started season seven of Dexter and it's very uncomfortable to watch, but that's a good thing I guess.

After this I'm going to try out Battlestar Galactica and then finally start watching Six Feet Under.
