How to install Ajax staff fix
- Download the zipped files
- Unzip the contents of the folder using an unpacking software tool like 7Zip of Winrar
- Place The Football Manager Update and other files in \Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\editor data
- Start Football Manager 26 and start a new career.
- When selecting your database files, make sure the editor files you want to use are all ticked.
- Continue and pick Original as your game mode
- Continue to Advanced Settings
- Once you have selected your Nations & Leagues you can start your game.

I tested this extensively well before the release date, and it doesn't pose any problems. The salaries are so low that a top player in the squad is equivalent to an average of 10 employees.

II started two new saves, but each time I get different ID numbers. The numbers don't match the numbers when I open the file in the pre-game editor. For those interested, the cutout and pure faces are in the links. Create your own XML file and provide the faces with ID numbers.

Thanks for these…. Have you managed to get them working yet by any chance? Any Faces for custom databases i've tried to add to FM26 so far have not worked. I have created several facepacks for previous FM's so its not something im new at.

Yes mate, tried that. Ive done the ‘ r-’ before the number in the config…. Nothing works. It's not just your this working yourself? Im on the Steam Public Beta version 5 if that helps?
Its the same with the Manager photo… It cant be changed for some reason.

There are concrete plans to update the Ajax staff with the recent adjustments soon, this does not apply to the other data updates from us, the Transfers & Data by FMEditorX V2 will not be updated for the time being.

Because the IDs are assigned randomly when creating a new game when using multiple editor files, you'll need to create an XML file yourself to get the faces into the game. An XML file for editing can be found in the attachment to this post.
The lines in the XML file should look like this:

I have finally got it working! Thanks for all your help… the config file I was using was slightly corrupted. Using the one you provided I finally got it working. I also managed to add Max Dowman's picture to him so I will now create a facepack for all custom youth talent once i get a bit of time.
