So this is how we limped out of the last game of the season. Another pretty poor game from Loris Karius seen us lose an early goal again. We managed to pull 2 back and take the lead only for more suspect goalkeeping to cost us a goal almost immediately and finish the game 2-2.
Which means the league table finished like...
CHAMPIONS! WOOHOO!
Delighted that Wehen also drew their last game which means we won the league on goal difference. Would have liked to have signed off the season with a win but at least we still finished top. So well done everyone!
Also we were offered a new contract by the board which I obviously accepted.
I'm starting to look at players who will be out of contract in the summer. I will get scouting report cards on some potential signings, post the reports and attributes up and we can all vote on who we bring in? Sound fair?

Is it possible to ask the board for a parent club? Maybe a major Bundesliga side could help us out.

Bear in mind that these are only the players interested if we approach them now before their current clubs offer them a new deal. There will be more players available when contracts expire and they leave clubs and also via a loan option when the transfer window opens backup. Although if we hold off there may not be a great selection of freebies when contracts expire...
So let me know who you each think we should move for or leave out.
Also I have asked the board for a parent club and they are looking into it.

I went to offer Simon Cziommer a contract but the board restricted t as it would take us over the wage budget should they all sign.
In this case I would ask you all if your are comfortable releasing Jean-Phillipe Caillet, Josip Collina and Stefan Ronnenberg from their contracts. Caillet & Collina served a decent purpose but they are both past their best now. And Ronnenberg is never going to be good enough for the first team in my opinion.
I can provide screenshots if required?

yeah good good ! And I am comfortable releasing those 2 never looked good enough for me and will provide valuable room in the wage budget.

Straith, Boller and Cannizzaro have agreed to join us on 1st July.
Josip Collina will leave on the same day for free. I have instructed the Ass Man to cancel Callet's contract also.
And the board returned with a verdict that they didn't see the point in us having a parent club

And I'm surprised they've said no to a feeder club! Could have had some class players in on loan and had some income as well.

Good luck mate! I took the liberty of asking our scouts to file report cards on some players who may be available for loan as soon as the transfer window re-opens.

Where do people think we need strengthening the most?
I'm looking for a keeper and maybe another quality striker.

We defo we need a new keeper and try and sell Ronneburg and also a better striker if possible !

This keeper wants to join and is the keeper we need, but we're already way over the wage budget and can't offer him what he wants.
Ronneburg has gone - he went for free to Karlsruhe.
In the DFB Pokal, we've been drawn against Hoffenheim in the first round.

yeah we defo need that keeper we really need to get under the wage budget is there any one else we could get rid of whos on big money ? and not a great draw

Is he really worth that much?
Also, Milorad Pekovic is the highest earner at the club on a whopping £8.5k per week which I think may be too much for him.
To build the squad we may need to get rid of some of these highest earners in order to make room in the wage budget.
