Hi,
If this is in the wrong place.. please move it


Bought a game (FM13) to play on the Mrs's laptop (Don't have a proper online connection at home so playing offline).
After taking it to someones house to download Steam and creating an account I've managed to get the game to start to install... It then asks for a code which when I input has been used before. I've bought it from Ebay and assume it's been used before.... As i'm not wanting to use it online (as we have no connection but a small dongle) Is there a way I can use it or have I bought a dud! Any help would be appreciated!

The code is tied to the user account used when installing the game first time round, so unless you get that, then you've no chance of installing it yourself.

Get in touch with the ebay seller...
