So my last game in charge for this round left me feeling that the squad is starting to play better together and things should look better for the future. A demolition of Blackburn was very pleasing to see.

Good first up win. Leaves us 4 points clear of 3rd place Barca. We have Barca next away so a loss will mean we have to beat Olympiacos in our final game to guarantee qualification. A win or a draw will see us through. Mijic is out for the game against Barca though.

Very nervy win this, Evans off for two fouls then Barkley goes and scores. I change to defensive to try and hold the lead and we end up with Smalling fouling Ozcelik who slots the penalty home but from there we invited so much pressure that they eventually had to score and it was a very strong finish from the boys to keep them from getting an equalizer.

I fucking hate when they equalize straight away, 2nd to 4th in the space of a minute
Tired legs I suppose are to blame, will be giving a few players rest from training.
Micha Adams also went off injured on half time and will miss 5 weeks

The injury crisis that always seems to hit me is starting again. Just scored his first goal for England and was gonna be back in the starting line up for us after being given a rest on the bench due to a knock a few games back.

Fucking hell what can I say? Dominated in every way, but it wasn't until a mistimed pass on the edge of our box gave them an equalizer and it went downhill from there. Isco adds to my injury woes out for 3 months
Makintosh injured in training out for 5 weeks. Seriously why is it always me that has these injury problems?
A few days later Maguire out injured too.

Absolute horeshit the equalizer was. He was miles offside. Anyways when Messi whipped in a free kick and met the head of Draxler, then minutes later we fail to clear the line and they get a second I feared the worse. Half the team either injured or suspended and most of the squad not even registered it was always gonna be tough at the Nou Camp. We dug deep and stole one on the counter before I went back to an attacking style and we grabbed a 2nd and 3rd. That should have been my greatest victory ever on this save but not to be.
On a happier note, WE HAVE QUALIFIED.....

Ozcelik injured after his goal (thankfully nothing serious), Mijic sent off thought what else can go wrong, bring Panfei on for the underperforming Moha and was a stroke of genius. We keep pace with the leaders.

Out with a whimper. ALways going to be tough, half the squad still injured and Mijic missing through suspension. Potter out for 5 weeks now too. Can't rotate the squad because everyone is fucking injured or ineligible

Furnes out for 2 weeks now. Next game is Olympiacos, as we have already qualified I am going to use as many under 18's as possible lol. Everyone in the starting team who isn't injured or ineligible really needs a rest.
Oh was also nice to get one over Pep after he left.

The kids done well, used 3 reserve players, they made up the left back, left wing and right wing spots. The rest of the back line was players who haven't played from the first team so were fresh and then I used as many players with 90 percent condition as I could. We qualify top and doing so knocked Olympiacos out of second and that pushed Barca up. That may come back to haunt us lol.
