Where do I begin?

After an enjoyable start with FM26 (rescuing a rudderless Huddersfield from relegation), my pesky real life family and job got in the way and I fell out of the game.

Now I'm back, and have freshly reinstalled version 26.3.0 and I'm raring to go. I've got a bit of time over the next few days to get the game nodded before I jump in again.

I normally get the real name fix, a big facepack, badges, trophies etc, but I've yet to use FMMloader (or a similar mod manager) and I like the look of Bassyboy's stadia. Skins too.

I've got a pretty powerful laptop and usually go with a large database (over 100,000 players).

So I know this will be subjective, but my question is:

What mods would you suggest I install?

What are the must-haves?

Maybe get the English DB down to level 11, get all of the kitpacks and logos from whatever style you like to use along with the facepacks and then just think about the kind of game you know you enjoy playing, if you're limited in what you can use. If you want to go a bit further then there's a megapack floating around on this site that has provided edited DBs for most countries in the game so that will expand things a lot, but haven't tested it myself so can't personally speak of the quality/accuracy of it but other people seem to like it. Other than that just enjoy the game.
