If you are on Savereader method you can select your profile in the app, click on "Files" tab and then click on "Show Directory"

Or if you are on Mem Reader app you have to navigate manually, on Windows it is in C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/com.cprrylow/NG_Regens Manager 26/Savegame Profiles/

All other graphics packs work for installing on Games Pass versions. This one doesn't.

There was a pack that worked on here soe time ago, however it seems to have been deleted.

Hi, to help you I need to understand which steps you have done and what you currently see in game.

You are the first one to mention that it doesnt work with GP and I see no reason why it shouldnt.

There is no regen pack you can “simply unpack into graphics” because each savegame is unique and you need to create mappings for your players. You might be thinking of bundle replacement method, but it should only be considered if you plan to play a single (two at max) season game.

I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, but when I use the "load save version" to load my FM24 save, it somehow scanned over 100 female players. Also, one of the newgens in my team got his UID detected but wasn't assigned a face. Meanwhile, the "read memory version" works perfectly.

The female players not being 0 on fm24 is being caused by the fact that I havent find a reliable way that works 100% of the time to differenciate players and staff. There are like 2-4% of staff that is being classified as players based on their age. The only thing it affects is that for such staff a player picture would be pulled and not a staff picture. So in the end you wont even notice it in-game.

Regarding the missing player - could you please send me a screenshot of what you mean?

And yes, the memory reader version produces more stable results (if we say savereader is 95-98% accurate, then mem reader is probably >99%). And you can totally still use it if you want, there are no limitations on the software part, both versions are wired to the same API logic behind. The reasons why I wont probably be doing memory reading version for FM27 are purely technical: needs different codebases for Windows, Linuix and Mac. Pain to use on Mac. On Windows it is not possible to distribute the software without signing it (and signing costs >200e per year), because it triggers so many false positives. The list goes on, but those are major points. 

One player of mine: I can find him in the database, but cannot find the UID in the config.xml

@giggsxbr hmm that is interesting, no idea why is he not there… Could you please send me your savefile via wetransfer.com to [email protected]? I will take a look from my side what is happening there… He looks completely normal, so it must be something on the picture assignment phase for some reason… do other chinese players get pictures assigned?

since the latest fm update, some of the players who had properly generated pics again have ugly fm templates… i did try to run “replace” so that at least i'll have them, but didn't work… and it's just in random nationalities; i have brazilians who have good pics and also bad pics… thought i saw somewhere something about “national team” players but not sure where and if it has a workaround… cheers…

Hmm again, never heard of that before… the only thing that comes to my mind that could be realted to national teams somehow is that fake files that you remove when you install Real Name Fix - that fix not only fixes names, but unlocks kits and some national teams, but I have no idea what has that to do with face assignment…

You can check the ID of a player whose face has disappeared on two places if you find it there:

In the Database tab of the Savegame profile section of the app (anoter user above has attached an image of how it looks)

In the Files tab of the same section you can open the .xml configuration file and search for that ID there.

Hi,

There are two methods you can follow. You are now talking about the bundle method witch is 1 file with 7000 images total. I do not really advice you to go that way, this method is only good if you play a single season and then drop the save. The reason for that is that the image count is simply very low and you will see duplicates left, right nad center. If you still want to go that route, then you should use your Xbox App to check the exact location of the folder - right-click FM26, select Manage > Files > Browse to jump straight to the correct root directory.

What I advice you to do is to follow this guide for the software method: https://ngregens.org/fm26savereader_guide It will use the folder that you have already found.

Hi, you are still confusing both methods together. You have downloaded the .bundle file, but are trying to use it with the software method.

If you go to https://ngregens.org/fm26savereader_guide there a link right at the top of the page to download the main picture pack - https://download.ngregens.org/NG_Regens_MainPack.zip 

That is a ZIP file that has NG_Regens folder inside that you need to unpack to Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\graphics\.

I get reports from time to time, that people have issues with female staff, but it is so damn hard to find regen female staff on FM26 as there is no filter for gender…

Hi, sorry, I dont fully understand your question, what do you mean?

You mean how do you update your software? Does your software interface is light themed or dark themed? 

If light themed, then you use the memory reading method, there were no updates there, it already functions very stable. 

If you interface is dark themed, then you should get the 2.0.4 installation file for your platform from the list above or use the Updates section inside the software.

Sorry, I was just too blind… No, I'm still having the problem, but I haven't started a new save yet. Once I do, I'll definitely let you know if the problem persists!

@pvt.rylow#6089 To temporarily fix my problem with female pictures I tried to adjust the config manually. I edited the config.xml in the Profile folder from my NG Regens Manager 2026 app. But that doesn't change a thing in game. Which file do I have do adjust in the editor to see changes in game? Thanks.  

Hmm yes, the way would be to either manually modify the config.xml inside of the profile folder and after that re-apply the profile via the software. Or to use the “Assign pictures manually” page. If nothing works - that is really on SI then, in that case the game simply refuses to map pictures for that entity for some reason…

If your current version is 0.9.4 - you do not need to update the software. Only the pictures packs as they come out if you want the newest pictures.

If your current version is 2.0.x - you can update to the latest version that the software suggests you, you should get a notification in the Updates page. You can also update picture packs as they come out.

Me manually fiddling around with the config actually brought a result, which I can't explain, but probably you can use it for something: 

My Assistant Manager is female and has a male face. When I replace the face in the NG App with the manual mode with a female staff face nothing happens. The face stays male. When I replace the config line in the config file with a path to a female staff face the male picture vanishes but there is no female face - just the generic Newgan 3d face shows up. Now comes the twist: when I now change the config file to a path with a female player face manually, the face appears in game. This made me try this process in the app and the result is the same: choosing the role “female player” instead of “female staff” fixes the issue and the generated Regen picture appears in game.

I don't know, maybe this helps.

I’m a bit baffled... stupid question, but do you actually have female staff pictures? If you go to NG_Regens/Staff/NorthCentralEurope/female/, do you see images in there along with a config.xml file that looks correct?

I have tried to find female staff regens on my save, my god SI doesnt make it easy… but I have found one and she had a picture… 

Chief Doctors are unclickables, so they are essentially impossible to troubleshoot with currently known methods. Some of them do get pictures, some not, nothing I can do unfortunatelly… I will just leave this screenshot here for all of us to enjoy

I checked by disabling SIP, booting FM and scanning for female staff with FMRTE. I actually have roughly 2.800 female staff in my game all over Europe in women's and men's football. I've checked in the game: none of them has a women's staff face (they are male) or a face at all. When they have a face it is generating before their retirement as female player's picture.

edit: it would be an interesting A/B test If you would delete the picture of the women above from your config and look whether the App would detect it and give it a women staff face…

Hi, Ive been using this for ages and suddenly all my graphics including logos and other faces have stopped working any ideas? 

Hmmm.. I need to find a way to reliably get a list of clickable female staff regens in FM26, that is my main bottleneck currently. I have to either search in-game, which is almost impossible, last time I have spent 30 minutes and have literally only found 1. Or I have to go from my config.xml file, but there are also press and agents mixed in, so again: I take an ID, look for the name, search for the name, find nothing (means is press), go again…

If all graphics has disappeard that is definately on SI… You can try to wipe game cache and settings to try to make it reload everything: I have asked AI(so take it for what it is), you might try to wipe your settings file so it will revert everything (laguage, resolution, graphics etc) to default:

Game Settings & Preferences (Resolution, Language, etc.)
These are stored in the AppData folder, which is hidden by default.

Path: C:\Users[Your Name]\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2026\Preferences

Quick Access: Press Win + R, paste the following, and hit Enter:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2026\Preferences

Inside this folder, you’ll find files like version.xml or general preference files that store your UI choices. If the game is acting up (e.g., resolution is broken or language won't change), deleting the contents of the Preferences and Caches folders in this directory is the standard "hard reset" fix.

Probably a dumb question but would this even work for fm23?
