🚀 NEW in Version 1.60: The "World Cup" Update
With this update, we have fixed the DLL bug resulting from the new FM26 update. Additionally, we have implemented improvements—particularly to the Easy Mode—and, just in time for the World Cup, introduced custom missions and TV graphics designed to match the new World Cup theme.

⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE
The new BepInEx interface and the associated .dll file work exclusively with Football Manager 2026! For FM24 or older versions, you must continue to use the Tesseract OCR mode (see below).
Always restart the program when changing languages or switching between Tesseract and BepInEx modes!
📁 Installation Guide (Step-by-Step)
The download contains three folders. For FM26, proceed as follows:
Step 1: The Commentary Mod (Folder 1)
This folder contains the actual application (.exe). You can place this folder anywhere you like (e.g., on your desktop). Simply start the tool by double-clicking the .exe.
Step 2: BepInEx Base (Folder 3)
Are you already using the Stadium Mod by BassyBoy?
YES: Perfect, BepInEx is already installed! Skip directly to Step 3.
NO: Copy the contents of Folder 3 directly into the main directory (root folder) of your FM26:
Steam: Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 26
Epic Games: Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\FootballManager26
Xbox Gamepass: Xboxgames\Football Manager 26
Step 3: The Mod File / .dll (Folder 2)
You MUST copy the file FM26CommentarySender.dll into the following path structure: 👉 .../Football Manager 26/BepInEx/Plugins/FM26CommentarySender/FM26CommentarySender.dll

🧠 Two Operating Modes: How to use the tool
1. Mode: BepInEx API (ONLY for FM26)
This is the most modern method.
Advantage: Auto-setup recognizes teams automatically, no scan errors, full automation.
Setting: Set the switch in the tool to "Mode: BepInEx API".
2. Mode: Tesseract OCR (For FM24 and older)
If you are playing an older FM version:
In-game Setting: You MUST activate the "Black & White Commentary" option in the FM settings under "Match"!
Setup: Select the path to your tesseract.exe within the tool. The BepInEx interface does not work here.
🚀 How does the new "Easy Mode" (BepInEx) work?
Previously, the tool had to scan your screen (OCR / Tesseract) to read the text. That's over now! When you toggle the switch in the tool to "Mode: BepInEx API" and activate "Easy Mode", the mod now communicates directly with the FM26 engine.
Your Advantages:
Auto-Setup: The tool automatically recognizes which teams are playing (Home & Away) and enters the names by itself!
Sit Back: The tool runs fully automatically in the background. You no longer need to enter anything or calibrate. Your only job is to play FM!
(Easy Mode can be enhanced with various features in the tool, e.g., Top Match Mode, Duo Commentators, and much more!)
🎙️ Additional Features for Fans
High-End Voices (ElevenLabs): Use ultra-realistic sound for your commentators.
🤬 Hooligan Mode: Turn off neutrality! Your commentator becomes a fanatical ultra, insults the referee, and passionately celebrates your team.

🚀 Quick Start Guide
Unpack: Extract the entire download folder.
Choose Mode: FM26 (BepInEx) or FM24 (Tesseract).
Start: Open the FM26_MatchDay_LiveCommentary_Mod.exe.
Action: Click "Load Match" and at kickoff click "Anpfiff" (Kickoff).

Hello, I am currently experiencing an issue where I only hear specific commentary lines like
'The match has started' and 'Good goal', but no other commentary is playing.
I have already tried playing in full screen, reconfiguring Tesseract, and rebooting my computer, but the issue persists. Could you please let me know what might be causing this or how I can fix it? Thank you in advance for your help!

I downloaded the v1.52 package today as a fresh install, but the app window still shows v1.51.
BepInEx loads correctly, and the console shows that Commentary Sender 1.3.0 is loaded. It also detects MatchPlayback and goals, for example “SCHNELLES TOR ERKANNT: 0:1”.
However, during the match I only hear basic lines like kickoff, match time, goal, and score updates. I do not get the normal live commentary or AI-style match commentary.
Mode is set to BepInEx API, Easy Mode is enabled, and the match is detected. Is this expected behavior in the current version, or is there still an Easy Mode issue?

the tool idea is amazing, it worked but still has a lot of delay, several times say “goal” but there is no Goal, and to many times keep telling the club story during the match, just a suggestions that it is in the right direction but I believe there still many things to optimize, thank you for this awesome tool.

hello i have installed everything correctly tool works, however it does not recognize the teams or the players it just talks when a goal is scored and the half starts, I also restarted my computer not sure what else should I configure? it works with easy more and recognizes the bepinex, however it does not read the team or anything it just says tor 1-1 1-0 or w/e the scor is any help? see below the DLL only sends the score also not sure
I also tried with lower or higher resolution full screen, windowed selected the path with tesseract, switched back to bepinex reinstalled the dll, restarted the game, i only have kickoff and goal for and 1-1 or w/e

Try installing the "commentarysender" folder. It's important that you use the folder included in the download; do NOT create one yourself and only move the file. If that doesn't work, check if there's an updated version of Bepinex and test it then.

NOTE: As of now, due to personal reasons, JONI9 is unable and will not be able to provide support or updates for this mod. I am still waiting for the program code to continue his work until he has enough time again. As of now, he will then continue my work on the mod.

Inside the dll folder there's a folder called
FM26commentarysender. Simply copy it and paste it into the plugins within the bepinex.

I appreciate your help with this, however there is no folder there just the DLL i even redownloaded the pack, i also used latest version of bepinex reinstalled the fm commentary program and restarted pc, is there another download link with another version i could try?

Did you create a folder called FM26CommentarySender in the bepinex plugins, or did you simply place the file there? If so, please create the folder (as described above), place the DLL file there, and then test it. I asked Joni9 during the last update to also make the mod available on FMscout.com. Unfortunately, he forgot to do so.

"Go into the program:
First, switch the toggle in the top right corner from Bep In Ex to Tesseract.
Go to settings. There you'll find the Tesseract path. Click on it and navigate to the Tesseract folder -> the folder inside -> select tesseract.exe.
Switch back to Bep In Ex (top right). Now test it.
Does it work now? Please let me know."
Also have many people problems if they not play in full screen. if you not play full screen, try it.

Furthermore, I would like to point out that, to avoid errors, the program should be run BEFORE you start FM26/FM24 so that the bepinex can load everything. If this is not done, it is possible that the first game after starting the program will not be commentated correctly.

thank you for your reply and help, so i did that i also restarted the game the computer the program reinstalled the dll with the folder i am in full screen see below it just says ball rolling goal and the score, doesnt read the players the teams or anything like that just silence

If I'm seeing this correctly, you're playing in English, but the program is still set to German. Change that in the settings. The mod reads the 3D text as an indicator of what's happening in the game, but if it's reading English but only understands German, it will remain silent. Think thats the problem.

Last option, try using version 1.52. According to your screenshots, you're using 1.51. The current version is 1.52.

Is FM26CommentarySender.dll also placed within the BepInEx plugins folder? And have you unzipped the contents of the download—copying them, for instance, into a separate folder?

Hello! I’m a user enjoying your mod in Korea.
I’m experiencing the same issue mentioned above as well.
However, it seems to work properly when I manually enter the home and away teams directly in the program, so I’ve been using it that way for now.
I was also wondering if there are any plans to support the Korean language in the future.
