Given our record against teams from leagues below us since Pardew's arrival I get the horrible feeling Morecambe are going to upset a bigger fish than Wolves...

Norwich away. I'll take that. Last time we played at Carrow Road was in the FA Cup few years ago and we held them to a draw and beat them in the replay. We're not getting a replay this time but fairly good memories of Norwich

went to Carlisle last night .. We lost on pens, was very gutting we played well in the second half but Josh king gave away a goal hes rapid but just cant do anything when hes near the goal, and then they nearly scored in last min but for an amazing save by our keeper. If Cairney hadn't have been sent off or Dunn had of scored his pen I feel we would have won.

Round two be happening right now.

So far only Sunderland are facing an upset, although Hull are apparently being battered by Leyton Orient.

Can't believe there's been no mention of Liverpool in here, though i expect them to win in extra time.

Yeovil-Birmingham seems to have descended into farce - with the score 2-1 Brum at 90, their keeper kicked the ball out after one of theirs was injured. Yeovil duly took a throw in and scored.

Then, after Yeovil scored in extra-time, they started the 2nd period by letting Birmingham walk the ball into the net.

For some bizarre reason I thought that wouldn't count.

I'm sure that's happened with Yeovil before.

I thought stuff like that could be classed as match fixing.

Nah, its happened a couple of times. Remember Plymouth doing it a few years ago as well.

It did way back in 2004 according to SSN, albeit in more ridiculous style when a Yeovil player tried to return it from his own half and somehow lobbed the opposition keeper

EDIT: Also, after their opening game with Watford, Lee Clark said that had Birmingham scored from a similar scenario that he would've let Watford walk it in. Though as Brum didn't I guess that point is moot.

Just got back from a sick night in Norwich (Unsurprisingly lost 3-6)

We got 15 coaches down and brought a total of 869 to the ground. Not bad for a 4 1/2 hour trip to Norfolk on a tuesday night eh? The story of the game was pretty much predictable. We tried but their finshing was just miles better than ours. However, we scored three goals which I suppose ain't that bad. Anton Forrester got another one from a Marlon Jackson header that went off the bar and our new CB got another to his tally aswell.

Best moment was without a doubt Big Jessy Reindorf's goal. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit that was some strike from about 35 yards out. Sick goal, even the Norwich supporters gave that a standing ovation.

Aye, 16/5 for the draw at full time is a good price.

As is a 5/1 shot for Morecambe

Amazing how apocalyptic Toon fans can get about their team. And even more amazing how frequently the club finds new ways to create those feelings.

We've been a disgrace here.

I hate the attitude of "I want us to lose so Pardew gets sacked" - it's ridiculous.

Brave move by Lambert to put out all his star players like Benteke, Delph and Agbonlahor against a team managed by Steve Evans

I hear plenty of Arsenal fans saying that about Wenger. It's infuriating.

They're not playing this weekend so they can get away with it.
