Pato looks like he's finally over his latest injury and he's playing a part in the Primavera's game this weekend.

Also, Conte's ban has been reduced to 4 months so he'll be back for their game against Palermo on the 9th of December.

I'll give him two first team games before he's out again.

Perfect free kick by Maresca against Chievo.

Hopefully this is the season Chievo go down, their defense has been the thing that's kept them up the last coupleod years and this season they have looked a lot less secure.

Massive fuck-up by Romero makes it 2-1 Chievo.

Should have been a free-kick for Samp before the goal was scored as well.

Clean sheet for Roma the first 20 mins or so were frightening, should have been a couple down, but it was a decent performance after that. Totti's ball for Lamela was superb.

Baffled at DDR not playing.

A brilliant freekick from Hernanes has put us 1-0 up away to Pescara this afternoon. That more than makes up for his dreadful penalty against Maribor in the week.

Edit: 3-0 now after 35 mins.

Hernanes and Klose are pretty awesome, there's only four more games (not including today) before the derby, hope we're looking a bit more solid by then.....

Marchisio 85', Juve lead 2-1. Juve look like they're back on track.

Lazio hauling ass.

Poor second half from us. Every time we go a couple of goals up the team goes to sleep, surrenders possession and we end up spending 45 minutes on the back foot.

AC 0-1 Inter, big problems for the Rossoneri. Napoli 2-1 Udinese... the Neapolitans look good bets for a very good season.

Why Allegri took El Shaarawy off and not Bojan is beyond me. Milan were toothless; even after Nagatomo got sent off, all they did was get the ball out to Emanuelson and Robinho on the left and watch them hit an overhit cross......

The stories have been bouncing around for a week or so but it looks official now, Giuseppe Sculli has been banned for a month and fined 30k because not only did he know about the protests at the Genoa v Siena game in advance, he'd agreed to speak to the Ultra during the game and look like the hero.

So we won 3-1 against a really good Armenia side. Defense was woeful, the Armenian counter attack was impressive though. They probably deserved the win, let alone a point.

I watched the second half. Great cross by Pirlo for the second and good header by DDR. Armenia weren't that bad actually yeah. Hopefully another win v Denmark on Tuesday.

Here's a little stat for you, BR. Italy have scored 8 goals in their last 5 matches. 6 of those goals have been scored by Roma players. ItalJuve? Nah, ItaliRoma.

Didn't realise it was that many, good stuff. Hope our players don't have bad backs, carrying all those Juventini can't be easy

Nah, all 6 of us. Especially the likes of Bonucci and Barzagli. Yowzers, that was a poor match from them on Friday.

Read earlier that the Lega is looking to introduce a rule stating that clubs looking to get promoted to Serie B must have stadia in their towns that meet the minimum regulations for the second tier (whatever they are...).

This would mean the end of sides like AlbinoLeffe playing in Bergamo, Sassuolo playing in Modena and Virtus Lanciano playing in Pescara.
Bian

Yes, cannot wait for that. Though it'll suck for teams like Sassuolo because the actual city they'd play in has like 41,000 people so they'd have to get half the town to the stadium in order to fill it.

Obviously they don't have to sell out every game, but it would look bad seeing like 2000 people there.

Aye, it's going to be weird if their promoted. As far as I know the rule won't apply to Serie A so they'll still be using Modena's ground. Given they averaged 3k crowds last year and anything above that was the Derby with Modena (10k) or caused by away fans filling their section, we're going to be in for some quiet games in 2013/14.

On the other had, if their relegated (fairly good chance) and this ruling comes into force, they'll have to do up the Enzo Ricci a bit, bring the capacity up to 7k or 8k, whatever the minimum is. It also means their fans won't have to travel into Modena every fortnight. Hopefully having the team on their doorsteps will help boost crowds a bit. It can't be fun when every 'home' game is a trip to your biggest rivals.

See if they got promoted to Serie A, I'll bet that a lot more people would go for the first couple of months if they had a stadium in their city, because then they'd start losing and people would be like "Well that was fun, goodbye for another couple of decades". Unless a big club showed up like Juve, Inter, etc.

Probably, but I don't see them ever having a Serie A standard ground in their town. The local authority isn't going to build a stadium half the population can fit in and it doesn't make sense for the club to bankrupt themselves building something that's only going to be needed for a 12/24 month stay in the top flight.

On the other hand, it makes sense for clubs to have grounds that meet the lower standards for Serie B and not being allowed to take the easy way and using a nearby stadium for year after year.

It has it's pros and cons either way you look at it. I think the big thing will be the financial aspect of it for the smaller clubs where it's simply not going to be viable to build stadiums etc, that will meet the requirements.

I think it's more likely to be the local authorities footing the bill for the improvements to the grounds. On the back of reading that piece I had a look at the current Serie B sides and quite a few are already working to bring their grounds up to Serie B standard so they can use them. None own their grounds either so I'm not sure what (if anything) it's costing them to do so.
With that in mind I don't see the rule really affecting things too much. Ambitious clubs willing to improve their infrastructure like Cesena or Novara a few years ago won't be affected nor will sides with decent grounds/support who'll benefit the league by getting promoted. The only one's that will suffer are tiny clubs who manage to get into B via the playoff's or a one off season where everything clicks.

Anyone else fancy Napoli to win tomorrow night? Just got a feeling.

Going for Lazio-Milan to be a draw, although if anyone was to win, it'd probably be Lazio - couldn't believe how bad Milan were against Inter.

Sunday night is where it's at though - Genoa v Roma need a win.

Incorrect. Chievo v The best football side in Serie A is where it is at on Sunday.
