Finally! Never been so happy to see Inter win. Capello 58 - 49 Conte

Suppose Chievo can make anyone look good...

After the game Galliani said that he obtained from Barca an option to buy Bojan, which is lower than the one Roma had. So... no more transfers until next summer

Well that was a painful 90 minutes. Not really anything positive I can take from the game, we were totally outplayed and the defending for 3 of the 4 goals was laughable. Even the 4th was a penalty we never should have conceded.

Didn't see any of the game last night, couldn't believe it when I checked livescore and Inter had won 3-1. Fair play to them.

Roma kicking off in just under an hour, need a win then I'd be a bit more confident for the derby next week as Lazio are in a bit of a bad run of form atm.

Just seen our starting line up. Frighteningly weak. Apart from the awesome attacking trio of Lamela, Ozzy and Totti, the bench is stronger than the starting team.....

Currently 2-0 (Totti and Osvaldo ) after an hour but can't get too comfortable just yet - still have nightmares over the Bologna and Udinese home matches.

Finished 4-1, Lamela and Destro also scored

EDIT: Destro had a shocker though, he'd already been booked and when he scored he started to take his shirt off, then realised he was on a booking so tried putting it back on but ref saw and gave him his second yellow

Really not looking forward to the derby, our performance this afternoon was up there with the worst I can remember while it's been a few years since I saw Roma play as well as they did this evening.

Destro's second yellow was well harsh. He didn't even take his shirt off, ref should have just used a bit of common sense, he's out of the derby now. He'd have only been a sub, but a good sub to have at that.

Great result though, all four forwards scoring. Scoring certainly isn't a problem for us.

The derby could still quite easily go either way Hibee. Aside from following up a home win v Atalanta with the 4-2 comeback at Genoa, we haven't had two good performances back to back yet. Very hard to predict!

They give out suspensions for second yellows in Italy?

They do in Scotland, for the same competition. Straight red is a ban in all competitions.

I had assumed this was the same everywhere. Is that not the case?

No. As far as I know only a straight red results in a suspension in Sweden.

Thought this was a good little stat when I read it earlier, after this weekend's games Argentinian players have now overtaken Brazilians in goals scored in the Serie A, 886 to 879. Personally I'd always assumed the Argies would have been second behind the Italians, but I suppose a lot of them were oriundi and would have been counted as Italians after they'd moved, gained citizenship or been capped....

Fun fact, Italian is the most common ethnic origin in Argentina.

Can't wait for Sunday.

I'm predicting a 6-4 win for either side.

And Klose will score a hattrick if he plays.

Heavy rain, malfunctioning floodlights, an early goal, a comeback and a red card. Everything you could expect from a Rome derby, and it's only been 45 minutes!

Been a odd game so far, Roma's goal probably shouldn't have counted as there was a clear foul on Lulic in the box but after that the ref seemed a bit biased towards us, he certainly fell for more of our play acting than Roma's. Our second came from a free kick that probably shouldn't have been given either.

Mauri must have had some money on both sides having a player sent off. Idiot.

Thank god that's over. 3 wins on the spin now but it was tough going, we fell asleep in the second half and once we were down to 10 we struggled to string a couple of passes together.

^ You could have it worse, you could have the joint worst defensive record in the division and go ahead every week before f*cking up. Angry.

Goicochea and Piris messed up big time for the first and third goals, but that's not the point really..........things like that are always gonna happen but it is completely unacceptable for a Roma team to have the joint worst defensive record in Serie A. The only positives to come out of today were Pjanic (awesome goal) and the fact that Tachstidis is suspended for next week.

As Montella's Fiorentina p*ss all over Milan, albeit a dire Milan that for some reason continue to stick with Allegri, it's looking more and more like the decision not to keep him on in summer 2011 was a terrible one.

Not a good game to watch that, we struggled to string two passes together and often weren't able to even get out of our own half. If it wasn't for Marchetti and Juve's average forwards we'd have lost this one.

I'm getting more and more convinced that El Shaarawy will be the player that inherits the title as the best player in the world when Messi and Ronaldo start declining.
