Hart's better overall but De Gea's not far behind and his distribution is on another planet to Joe Hart's.

In a year or two, when he's filled out a bit, De Gea's going to be a very, very good keeper.

That's the easy thing to forget, he's still only 21. He has 4 years on Hart.

I think Courtois is the only keeper at a similar age playing at a similar level as De Gea is now.

Yeah, I'm not criticising him at all. Just saying at this moment in time, Hart is better. It'll be interesting to say where they both are in a few years time.

De Gea needs to shave that bumfluff off his face before he can be considered being as good as Hart

Nani's days at Manchester United appear to be numbered as the winger's relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson has reached breaking point.

ESPN understands that assistant manager Mike Phelan had to mediate and calm the Portuguese following last Wednesday's 5-4 Capital One Cup defeat to Chelsea, after Ferguson had criticised Nani for his wasteful use of the ball that led to Eden Hazard's late penalty in 90 minutes.

For his part, sources close to Nani say that he is feeling "victimised" and blamed for any bad result, but has become increasingly vocal about that in the dressing room. He has also had angry words with United coach Rene Meulensteen.

Ferguson's frustration with the winger's performances grew towards the end of last season, and it is understood he would have sold the Portuguese in the summer, with Lucas Moura intended to serve as a direct squad replacement. United ended up being gazumped by Paris Saint-Germain for the Brazilian.

While Nani's natural talent is hugely respected at Old Trafford, many of the coaching staff are believed to question his focus.

As it is, United will attempt to find a buyer in January, with Ferguson also prepared to spend to fill the place he hopes will be vacated.

Keane and Lingard have gone to Leicester on loan too, and Brady is likely to go to Hull again.

It would be a shame to see him leave and fulfill his potential elsewhere, but if a good offer comes in January and we can bring in a replacement, I won't be gutted if and when Nani goes.

Oh Lordy, no.

The games as bent as Uri Gellars cock. Mike Phelan (who thinks it's movember all year round) disappears from the dug out as Braga are on a roll and suddenly all the frickin lights go out!! WTF, that physio's bag has wire clippers in it! The toolmaker from Govan was pishing himself as they headed back into the dressing room for a blast on some of wio's drugs stash, then suddenly they come flying out the dressing room on goofballs and fizzers. Valencia was running so fast that baconface had to change his glasses. Then the Braga goalkeeper decides to backhand RVP's hit and hope into the back of the net. Lob in a dodgy penalty, a fouled double shot by wazzarooney followed speedy gonzales chasing the ball into the net with his mexican witchcraft. And once again we have another window in the rigged world of modern day football.

Someone call dynorod, coz there's a bad smell coming from Europe!

Absolute joke Rob. Were getting battered when mysteriously the flood lights failed. Old Bacon Face got a 12 minute team talk and a chance to bring on Ferdinand for the woeful Evans. Dodgy Dodgy dive for a penalty given by the fifth official a good 20 seconds after the dive????
Rooney touched the ball twice with his penalty yet it was still given.
UEFA absolutely blatantly corrupt, all the big sides in Europe get the decisions. They are scared of us out of pot 3 or 4 and dominating Europe.

Does Fergie Time Exist?

Surely the fact that teams will time waste more when drawing/beating Utd should render that pointless

I thought it was a decent enough read, basically what I thought already, that bigger sides tend to get more time, especially at home.

Nah, it's clearly a load of bollocks. Lesser teams will time waste more when not losingto bigger teams, hence the increase in time added on.

I'm retreating to here to talk about that performance. Mostly so I can tell King Luis and Carroll to fuck off in advance if they're going to make their usual snarky comments rather than contribute anything.

1. Ferguson needs to get a grip, I wasn't at all surprised to see Scholes picked again nor was I to see that he caused all the same problems. It's ridiculous that we keep picking midfields that contain inherent flaws and keep playing football at a walking pace. Credit has to go to him for actually addressing the problem with his substitutions though but that doesn't change the fact that the problem was avoidable in the first instance.
2. Stewart Downing might make Ashely Young look like a fucking bargain but he's not good enough. At his very, very best he's just about good enough to not be a waste of space and his best performance (and only excellent one) came when he ripped apart Carl Jenkinson a league 1 standard defender at the time, who clearly wasn't ready, which just about says it all.
3. Welbeck is wasted on the left wing, I can see what the thinking is with him there, but he's really not good enough to pull it off.
4. It's beyond a joke that De Gea is not starting every game, he's a better keeper than Lindegard by a million times and has been virtually flawless this year with the exception of being rugby tackled by Vidic, which was somehow his fault.
5. I'm hopeful that Valencia's absence through injury explains his shite form recently, rather than anything more worrying.

It's so frustrating that you can look at the line up every week and know exactly whats going to happen, exactly how we're going to play and knowing that next week, again, our best midfielders will be left on the bench.

It's infuriating that we have to concede a goal to get going in a match.

Our luck ran out last week and this week we still play the wrong lineup. Anderson should be starting more often and Cleverley too. Both of them are terrific and are better starters than Scholes and Giggs. Anderson coming on today made all the difference.

Nani maybe frustrating but he's far better than Young. His crossing his poor and he rarely beats players.

De Gea should be starting every game, he's our number 1 keeper and repeatedly dropping him won't boost his confidence at all. I don't rate Lindegaard at all really.

The recent form from Valencia might have something to do with the injury.

Fergie said he's been playing with it the last few weeks.

SAF: "I am not happy to rotate all the time. I don't think that creates consistency. That is why I kept Anders in on Wednesday."

Fuck sake. He rotates the team all the time, now he decides it's bad so he drops our #1 keeper.

De Gea is far better than Lindegaard tbh.

Manchester United are monitoring Wesley Sneijder's situation ahead of the January transfer window, ESPN has been told, as it emerged on Friday that Inter will consider selling the Dutch playmaker after contract negotiations stalled.

The Old Trafford club came extremely close to signing Sneijder in August 2011 only for the deal to fall down over financial demands. But with United's hand now strengthened due to the player's current difficulties, ESPN understands they are strongly considering another bid with Nani possibly going the other way.

United manager Alex Ferguson's relationship with the Portuguese winger has worsened significantly over the past year and the club even looked to try and sell him in the summer. Even if Sneijder does not arrive at Old Trafford, Nani - who is currently injured and could be out until the New Year - may yet move to either Inter or Juventus.

Similarly, any prospective Sneijder deal is not dependent on the winger's situation. For one, Ferguson is known to believe it would be a mistake to miss out on a player of such quality - regardless of options - if he were to come available for relatively cheap. The United manager has repeatedly proven this in the past.

In addition, Ferguson has apparently accepted that his midfield needs bolstering and feels that Sneijder could play in a more withdrawn role that would enable United to better use possession and funnel attacks in a superior manner.

United have also been heavily scouting PSV Eindhoven's highly-rated Kevin Strootman and are one of a number of clubs watching Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha, although Arsenal are understood to be favourites if the young forward were to leave Selhurst Park.

In Italy, meanwhile, Sneijder looks set to be again left out of the team for Inter's match with Palermo this Sunday.

"Sneijder isn't playing because the coach doesn't think he's at his best, above all psychologically," club president Massimo Moratti said.

"For us it's natural to look for a way to not be forced to sell him and he has the right to not accept our offer. If it stays like, the solution will be on the transfer market."

And so the Sneijder talk begins...
