Anyone read the tweets from Red Issue a few hours ago? An absolute mess if it's true, but they're big claims to publish.

Just looked them up, absolutely no one has any idea how to run that place, which is scary, for a club of United's size. If true.

Red Issue are a bunch of fear-mongers who pretend to have inside information to persuade gullible idiots to sign up to their paid forums and get the 'full story'.

Regularly guilty of making stuff up.

Dunno if this link will work, but busted:

BBC: United hold talks with Mourinho | Bedy Moratti: “He’s happy now, he’s going to Manchester"

Hmm, seems to take you to the right place and then lose it, its Olly's posts #4548

Haha, I wonder if anyone has posted that to them on Twitter. Get a response from them.

Samuel Luckhurst went on 5 Live and pretty much read out Red Issue's tweets regarding Fergie, Charlton etc. not wanting Mourinho at the club.

I stopped following MEN a while back, they are woeful when it comes to news about United.

Louis van Gaal: Man Utd are almost as good as Spurs - they just score more goals

Why is it nowadays when he speaks he just makes me cry?

On more positive news our U21s won the league last night with a last minute Varela winner. Good to see.

We can win the FA Cup, and we are still in the race. How many teams can say that? Not many. Our aim was to qualify. Of course you can say Manchester United need to be champions, yes I know the expectations are like that but I don't think that is realistic.

Oh god, please leave immediately.

30 minutes after we lift the FA Cup the BBC and Telegraph are reporting Mourinho is to be appointed as our manager next week.

Bit harsh on Van Gaal that this has been leaked 30 mins, as you say Sam, after lifting the cup. Let him enjoy the moment.

What's also disappointing is that his press conference is going to be filled with questions regarding the Mourinho story.

We've all been pretty certain that Mourinho is arriving but we've just won the cup, that's what today should be about.

Best we could get.

I have my doubts, but hopefully we get the Jose of Inter and Porto and one whose learnt his lessons. Have a feeling I'm going to be royally pissed off with him before the season starts though.

Yeah, you definitely don't want the José of Chelsea. The one who won back to back titles and whose team set record points, most wins and fewest goals conceded? The one who walked the league last season? Pfft. Who needs that guy.

I can't believe the way Man Utd fans look at Mourinho, sometimes. "He leaves teams in dire states" blah blah blah. The only time that ever happened (except for possibly now, with us) was with Inter. Which was a team he left on a good note.

The man's a legend, and a genius. And yeah, he can be a right cunt, but he'll fucking win you things.

Unsurprisingly the media are being absolute dicks to LvG in his press conference. Let him enjoy his moment ffs.

Was it? They'd just won the treble, he handed over a CL winning team. Managers after him just made a mess of it.

He won things at the other clubs too if you remember. But at both Inter and Porto he made far greater use of (or at least my memory serves that he did) the infrastructure at the clubs, the resources there and the youth academy. I don't think you can hand wave away the doubts as easily as you've tried to around Mourinho although I do agree that he gets a lot of unfounded and unwarranted criticism too.

Doesn't the story go that he spent all their money on old players and left them with a creaking team and no finances to replace it with?

Never really been sure why Jose was blamed for that in particular though, always seemed like - if that was the case - it was decisions that would have been made above him that were to blame.

He's won things everywhere, I just took offense to you completely leaving out a record breaking Chelsea team.

If Mourinho ends United's 3000+ game run with youth players then I'm going to very pissed off.

Other than that and his incredibly bizarre behaviour when things go wrong for him, I'm optimistic about his arrival. Mainly because he wins things all the time.

As much as I would love Mourinho to join, LVG has just won the FA Cup. After all the criticism he has got over the course of the season (deservedly at times) and the professional manner which he handled it, in response, 30 minutes later, to tell him he will lose his job, is just wrong. I think he should get another season, but I would love Mourinho here, and the only worry being, would a man like Jose want to wait another year to take over a club like United, when he knows it is a team in need of a proper rebuild?

I really hope he is a colossal failure and his managerial career is left in tatters.

Unfortunately I can't see that happening, at least you'll most likely bin Mata now and sign a half decent player instead.

It was leaked by Mendes and his people. Nothing to do with United.

In my opinion we will be looking for a new manager within three seasons of Jose Mourinho appointment.
Bang goes youth setup at United, the Glaziers will be getting their cheque book again.
In my belief the United board have been very short sighted and not looking at the bigger picture.
Plus I can't believe how unprofessional the board been over Louis van Gaal, they could have waited at least couple of days after the cup final.
Jose Mourinho should pay a commission fee to the press boys and girls who have been touting him for the job all season.
Yes I'm very p****d off fan.
