I'd be the first to admit that Blackburn isn't excactly Paris or New York, but seriously Burnley is f*cking minging. Unbelievable the state of some (most) of their fans, about two teeth between them.
Anyway, 1-1. Gutted about the last minute equaliser but at least we didn't lose. This was their best chance for a long, long time and they still couldn't beat us.
We're falling well behind the promotion places though.

Erm, actually, no.
First half we bossed it, then decided to not defend for five mental minutes. Smithies will get the criticism for the first, but someone should have got to the ball before the shot. Think it took a deflection, to be fair to Alex. Second half we didn't get a kick, Leeds' midfield just bossed it, all their experience showing. Ref was the best I've seen in years, absolutely no complaints.
Our fans are now under investigation for anti-Semitic chanting. Yep. Bang to rights. Sadly the club's name will be dragged through the mud rather than the section of support who chanted. However, there's one cunt who's been caught giving a Hitler salute to the away fans. Ban him for two years and see how quickly people realise anti-Semitism isn't acceptable.

Chants will always be offensive to a minority. Working in child abuse means I winced at the 'Jimmy Saville's fucked your kids' chant (though I might have done anyway, it was unbelievably moronic), for instance. But there's a line that shouldn't be crossed, and that line's crossed with every 'yid' chant. Fundamental difference between this and what Spurs fans chant.

If he's half as good as KB's other signings he will do for me. KB has changed our season for the better. Without players like Poleon (shame he's gone), Thompson, Hewitt or Doherty we would already be relegated.

Anyway, we are playing Leyton Orient at Gigg Lane tomorrow (if it is not called off 1 hour before the game like Tuesday *Cough*). Massive respect for Orient. They looked like a stick of shit at the start of the season but Russell Slade has turned it around and their stirkers Mooney and Lisbie are on fire. Tough game, I predict a 1-1 draw with Hewitt getting our goal.

I ask purely because I reckon their left-back alone cost more than our entire first XI today. Flashes of Premier League quality (particularly in the first 30 minutes of the second half), some nice football (and Kevin Davies), but absolutely no fight. We didn't have the quality, but we had the guts and determination and the spirit to keep going. Absolutely battered them after going a goal down. Two blinding saves from Bogdan in the dying moments, one just before Vaughan levelled, one in the sixth minute of a mysterious amount of stoppage time.
Belting football match, actually. Dominated the first half after a shaky start and should have been 2-0 up when Novak missed an open goal before Bolton bossed the second. Smithies saved a penalty (was a pen, but should have been our dead ball in the first place) in between two goals from Bolton before Town absolutely battered the Trotters. Vaughan's goal showed his Premier League class, firing in brilliantly after a lay off from Alan Lee, before Bogdan produced a sensational save to rescue a point for Bolton.
