Because fortunately for us the season doesn't end after 10 games. With a better start we could've actually be seen as title contenders. Minus 1/2 areas we have the quality to challenge, unlike Liverpool; which is why we're a step up.

Also don't really agree with your second point, if you had quality to challenge you'd challenge.. Our squads also not as bad as you make out, it wasn't just Suarez who got us there last year (although yes, he was a massive part)

We had a different defence line up for the first 10 games of the season. Koscielny has a consistent Achilles problem, Özil got injured and like Mertesacker was suffering from the World Cup. Debuchy has had two serious injuries, Ramsey was fucked and Wilshere got crocked when he hit form. Giroud also missed three months, Oxlade-Chamberlain has had an injury plagued season and Walcott has barely featured.

Bare in mind we didn't even have a proper DM until Coquelin featured & Arteta has now picked up an injury which won't go away for the rest of his playing career.

Whereas Liverpool's injuries has been what, Sturridge? And that's it?

Liverpool came closer to winning the title last year than Arsenal have in the last decade.

They aren't any more likely to win it in the near future than Liverpool. How many years has it been since Arsenal have actually, realistically, challenged for a title?

True, I would give him 100k even though he's not been worth it this season.
The thing is right now hes only on 35k and with Rodgers fairly reluctant to sell him, hes losing out on 65k each week.

I get the feeling he feels abit aggrieved he hasn't been given a new contract before now and he's basically been playing week in week out on a fairly rubbish contract (rubbish in footballing terms obviously)
