It's ridiculous to be saying teams are as good as down with just two games played.

Not when they hire probably the manager with the worst Premier League record in history like Warnock.

Shearer managed about 9 games with a broken squad pretty much doomed for relegation.

And still got relegated so I fail to see your point.

That Warnock's record probably wasn't the worst. Just being a pedant, no malice.

Warnock's record is far from a good appointment though, all shouty shouty no actual thought behind it imo

I don't understand how a Premier League club in 2014 can make a shortlist that includes, Glen Hoddle or Neil Warnock. Or consider Tim Sherwood.

Hughton, Lennon, Jol, McDermott, Adkins, Rosler, Jackett, Powell?

Or my personal choice Steve Evans?

So that's Palace down

Well at the very least should be an easy 3 points for the Mags on Saturday.

In fairness I said that about QPR after day one of 2012-13 and got proved right. But yes - still 36 games to go and plenty of shaking about to go yet.

Di Maria should start against Burnley tomorrow but still no Rojo which is frustrating.

Another attacking player, just what Man Utd need.

No Cleverley or Kagawa. Happy to see Welbeck there though still.

Di Maria has been incredible. Making a difference already.

The rest of them, especially Fletcher who basically does nothing of any use, and the two wing backs have been varying degrees of mediocre to bad.

If we get in a number 6 at the base of midfield who actually shows for the ball and move it on to Di Maria and Mata quicker, rather than our centre backs hoofing it because there's no options we'll look a side.

DDG is surprisingly having a poor game.

Not many are having a good one tbh.

RVP/Rooney not working well together upfront, Mata's been poor, Fletcher has been awful.

I love Di Maria already.

Anderson coming on?

How desperate have we got?

Anderson for Di Maria.

Might as well turn it off.

Di Maria off for Anderson. What a sentence.

Good debut from Di Maria.

Welbeck for Van Persie should have been the sub at half time.

United are absolutely awful. Di Maria and an Everton standard Blind isn't going to change their fortunes.

We actually played well in patches I thought, unlucky not to win but created chances and should have had 2 penalties.

People will moan because we didn't win, but there's clear signs of improvement and players understanding their roles better.
