On another day we'd have finished the game with 8 men.

Cahill should have been off and i'm quite certain the ref not bottled that first decision the game would have been very different after that.

Definitely a yellow. Big ol' yellow.

(Yeah, it was bad)

Looks like Cesc is going to fell him.

Same old same old. Özil's had a blinder playing centrally in the last 3 games so lets play him out wide again!

I'm 90% sure its because Wenger doesn't trust him to work hard enough in a big game so shoves him out wide to limit the damage he can do centrally by being lazy.

John Hartson is a bit thick. On 5 Live, says that the player Green passed too was only 8 or 9 yards, says some viewers might question why the goal was ruled out.

Now he's saying it should have stood.

Hartson also said how Harry will do so well to keep them up and that it would be his biggest achievement. Despite the fact he's the one that built that team with a lot of money. They look easily the worst team in the league, the players just don't look like they care. QPR and Burnley are almost certainties to go down.

Thought Chelsea were lucky that Cahill didn't see red that was a shocking tackle. There after though Kos and Welbeck should have been sent off but as was said above, Cahill red changes the game completely.

United seemingly can't shut out games anymore, makes for a very nervous atmosphere. DDG though

It's a tricky thing to discuss. Sure, Cahill could've gotten a red card. Very well could've.
But just because this incident came before the countless other incidents, doesn't change the fact that those incidents occured.
Chambers could've gotten a second yellow. Kos could've gotten a red. Flamini elbowed Costa in the face, could've gotten a red. Welbeck's tackle definitely warranted a red.

This doesn't negate the fact that Cahill should've probably been sent off, but it's a hideously weird way to see things, to completely ignore all these events because the first decision was botched.

Not ignoring them at all? Just stating the facts that if Cahill had been sent off then it changes the game.

The way Chelsea close games out when they take the lead is so impressive to watch. 'Games management' sets the great teams apart from the rest.

Wenger would have Mourinho imo

Think that little exchange shows the hold Mourinho and Chelsea have over Wenger, must be awfully frustrating.

He'll never beat a Mourinho team. Never. He is nowhere near good enough tactically to match him.

Hazard is an absolute joy to watch when he just waltz's past players with such ease.

Excellent result, the only dampener is Tibo and what sort of prognosis comes with his injury.

Chelsea are the only club in the EPL to outscore Ronaldo so far this season.

He's insane,

Feel a bit for Ronaldo. If he'd played at pretty much any other time in the last 20 years, he'd be head and shoulders above anyone else playing at the time.

You could argue that either him or Messi are the best ever really.

Don't think it really diminishes what he's done. He's still far and away the best player in the world right now and certainly has changed the game more than some.

I'm more curious to see how he'll go over the next couple of seasons as he enters his 30's and redefines his game.

Not saying it diminishes it, but if Messi wasn't around, Ronaldo would have so many more individual awards/records.
