We beat Telford away 4-0 today

played our best team in the first half and we played our kids and 2 players that were transfer listed in the second half, and Best scored once and Rochina twice both of them transfer listed.

I'm going to be going to see Crystal Palace play here in Richmond on the 28th. It'll mark the first time ever a Premier League team comes to Virginia so it should be interesting (though I'd be shocked if CP doesn't destroy the Kickers to be honest, even in pre-season).

Lost 3-1 to Sheffield Wednesday. Danny Nardiello scored our goal which was the equalizer shortly before half time but I guess they were just too good for us. We played with four trialists. One of them was ex-Shaker Peter Sweeny, one of them ex-Dale Joe Widdowson and one of them was Joe Thompson. YES, that Joe Thompson who was diagnosed with cancer not even a year ago. Intersting to see he is back on the pitch again

We beat FC Dallas 2-0 last night

Villa [First Half]: Given [c], Hutton, Okore, Stevens, Baker, Herd, Bacuna, Gardner, Weimann, Bent, Grealish.
Villa [Second Half]: Steer, Lowton, Senderos, Clark, Bennett, Westwood, El Ahmadi, Delph, N’Zogbia, Agbonlahor, Richardson.

Lambert appears to be extending the olive branch to the likes of Given, Hutton, Bent and Zog. perhaps the youth only policy really has been set aside now, with the signings of Cole, Senderos and Richarson it would certainty seem so.
