Hulk and Danny just combined for a sick goal against Benfica.

Who's the better player, Suarez from last season or Aguero from this?

Aguero's only being doing it for a few months, would need to see at the end of the season. But at least he's scoring against big teams

I reckon theres a decent argument that Aguero was better last season when fit. Injured too much though, obv.

Gonna be a tough game for them against Basel, they always seem to beat English teams and in this case a point would be enough for them. That and Roma-City are gonna be very interesting.

Its a disappointing result but it doesn't change anything, we still would have had to beat Basel to go through even if we'd have won

If I remember rightly, they were pretty much neck and neck in the scoring charts until about New Year. Then Kun was out for a while and Suárez ran away with it.

Suarez did miss 6 games though (obv talking about before Aguero was injured)

Yeah I was saying this. When it went 2-2 the commentators were saying about they need to go for it but really they needed to just ensure it remained 2-2.

Would have been a massive boost though the win especially considering you were again poor.

Didn't watch the game so not sure what the commentators said but going from what you've said it seems like they wanted us to go for it but it was a sensible performance from what ive heard, people are quick to criticise Rodgers but got to give him credit for not just going all guns blazing and losing.

Moti > Mignolet in goal imo.

Rodgers said they were outstanding. Not sure if hes seriously deluded or trying to take pressure off the players.

Probably a bit of both...

May have to watch the Liverpool game now and just watch our highlights later. Should really win it 4/5-0 as Galatasaray are somehow much worse than us at the moment.

We've played like this all season. Defence always looks nervous, midfield lacks creativity and we don't have a focal point nor pace upfront. Seems like we're just passing it to Sterling and watching, and he's playing poorly recently.
