New episode is awesomesauce.

Not watched the first episode of season three at the moment, going to wait until I have 2-3 of them. I can't handle watching one, then having nothing else.

Waiting for it to start here in the UK, but seen the trailers are literally can't wait. Hope Al Capone fucks shit up.

Oh, and they should have used Petter Solberg as research for the English speaking Norwegians on the show... the accent they had in the latest episode was awful to say the least and nothing like how it really is.

I'm thinking the next season will focus a lot more on Chicago and New York and less on Atlantic City judging by the direction of the last few episodes of this season.

I can not stand Boardwalk Empire. It's just hour after hour of depression. Extremely humourless people having their lives upset by tides of change and no one can stand to point out how dull and soulless everyone is. I can't think of one character whose performance I enjoy, every episode is like taking a bath in dark chocolate.

Then don't watch.

I don't any more, but how am I supposed to know if I will like something if I don't try it?

Either way, I think there are plenty of enjoyable performances in this series. Guys like Rothstein and Capone are tremendous.

I sort of agree with Fantastic.
It's around 50 minutes of dryness, and 5 minutes of goodness in every episode.

I watched the whole of the first season and kind of enjoyed it for a while. But into the second series it got to the point where watching one episode took so much out of me I couldn't stand to watch the next. I think I got four episodes into season two. I can tell when I enjoy a television show when I can name characters. I can't even name the guy who is Nucky's cousin or nephew or whatever, the one whose mother bangs the guy who hangs out in New York.
