Can't wait for De Gea to bugger off to Madrid

Had Courtois just ahead before the season, DDG is slightly ahead now imo.

Great first half, poor second half. Carrick sub, again, just why bring him on at HT? Killed all the rhythm.

Hoping this doesn't bring us down in the top four fight.

Amazing that Fellaini, who is shit, lets not kid ourselves, plays ahead of players like Juan Mata.

If the Herrera sub was anything other than enforced then I pretty much give up.

Same as the Rojo to left back sub, Shaw struggled but moving Smalling to LCB turned him from being solid to a quivering mess who could no longer control the ball, pass, or tackle.

Great draw as long as Liverpool avoid a cupset exit against Blackburn! Arsenal Liverpool final? That'd be worth watching!

I'm starting to notice this worrying trend of Van Gaal subbing at half time and completely changing things.

Honestly I don't think he knows what formation we should play and who should play.

Very worrying as I don't see us having the consistency to pick up the points needed to finish in the top 4.

Is Rafael injured, or is he knobbing off van Gaal's wife or something? Why is he not right back instead of Valencia?

Also, how the fuck can anyone defend Dobby the house elf?

Van Gaal hates Brazilians.

Does Gary Linekar want to say "uh" and "um" any more? I swear it's after every word! Unbearable to listen to, he's not like this on MotD!

No idea why Mata didn't come on. Playing a winger at right back can be costly, who'd have thought it?!

Despite being annoyed at the ref and his baffling decisions, the best team won tonight. Very strong performance from Arsenal.

And ffs look at that draw.

Perfect away performance. United are absolute wank, they spunked £180m to finish in the Europa League places, Jesus wept.

They were hardly baffling, but they were frustratingly inconsistent which is about the worse thing a referee can be. If you book Di Maria for diving then why aren't you booking Sanchez and Welbeck too? If you book Ashley Young, Bellerin and Ramsey for cynical fouls then why aren't you booking Rojo and giving Bellerin his second yellow too?

I think he's right out of the Clattenburg school of wanting to make a decision a game to prove how good a referee he is and we need a lot less of those sorts.

Inconsistent - definitely the right word. A poor performance all round from Oliver tonight.

It takes balls to actually give United players the punishment they deserve tbh. Thought he had a good game, Rojo's reckless tackle saved Bellerin essentially, when Welbz went down we should've had a free kick but apart from that I thought he was great today.

I've been wondering about that - when did Juan Mata become LVG's persona non grata?

I didn't watch the game so I can't comment on the whole but Jesus wept di Maria sounds like the worst big money spending since the bank bailouts. The fuck is going on?

Di Maria is such a twat, there is no reason to touch the ref at all. No way that can be defended. The dive was pretty shocking too.

He does this really weird thing where he plays a player, discards them and then plays them again.

He's done it to Herrera, Mata, Falcao, Fellaini and Young already.

I suspect Mata will come back into the team at some point in the next few weeks and I hope Rafael does too.

And honestly Di Maria was quality tonight until he lost his head, Arsenal's tactics to consistently foul him (at least 3 or 4 times in the second half alone) were bizarrely ignored.

Oh and this is what I mean about inconsistency. How one's a free kick and the other a dive I will never know. https://twitter.com/WayneeM/status/575054598752198656

Makes a change for Man Utd fans to be moaning about the ref for once. Now they know how every other team felt after visiting Old Trafford when Fergie was in charge.

They're both dives and yellow cards, but tonight we didn't get the decision.

Either way Di Maria should never have put a finger on the referee.

The worse thing about the Januzaj one is how much space he is running into.

He's diving for the sake of diving.

I think he'd overrun the ball by then. You'd think someone would have a word with him (Giggs?) He was diving a lot last season too

I think the worst thing about it is the reaction of Wayne Rooney.

Drops to the floor like he's been told he's losing his hair again.
