Off to Anfield later, come on Rovers!!!

If we can win away to Arsenal with Michael Appleton in charge and Bradford can come back from 2-0 down at Chelsea to score 4, then anything is possible.

You'll lose 3-0 I reckon

The ones who went on before the final whistle were booed by most the ground, rightly so, but after the final whistle let them enjoy it. Beating West Brom, which is a bit of a derby, West Brom have been cunts all week, plus first FA Cup semi in years. Good performance too.

Stewards were absolutely shit though, West Brom fans sitting above started tearing the chairs off and throwing them, mate got caught in the head with one and was bleeding a fair bit and they did fuck all for ages

He got in the mail for it \o/

That caption on the video

"Assistant referee runs for his life as Villa fans invade pitch"

You'd swear it was ISIS invading the pitch ffs

Delph didn't get bit, what a load of shite Dan Walker is spreading. Delph actually said "The fans were kissing me so much/hard that I could basically feel their teeth". Fucking hell, the shite "journos" spout these days

I've only seen this quote.

Goalscorer Fabian Delph, who was surrounded at the final whistle, said: ‘That was very, very scary.
‘My armband got nicked, someone got my left boot, but I could appreciate the relief the fans are feeling after a result like that. It was dangerous. Someone tried to take my boot off. People tried to kiss me and were biting me. It was scary.’

Delph DID say he got bit, but he said it with a smile on his face.

Yeah, hardly malicious as Dan Walker insinuated.

Disgusting stuff from horrible corporate Aston Villa and their dirty Premier League money.

Pitch invasions are only encouraged when it is a heroic lower league family club. The Magic of the Cup.

Would have liked to see Joshua King against Liverpool today after what he did to Stoke in the last round. He always seem to pick up an injury once he finally hits form though.

That penalty decision was tough but looked like Kilgallon kicked Lallana's foot onto the ball rather than actually getting the ball, would have been tough to see though

Nah, he got the ball. That should've been a peno for Blackburn for handball. Lino should've seen it.

On second look it seemed dodgy alright

Not many are, still handball and a penalty

Well no it isn't if its not deliberate, just because officials always seem to get it wrong doesn't mean the rules change

Most penalties given are not deliberate handball (arms up blocking a shot usually). It's literally impossible to prove it deliberate without the player coming up and saying "yeah, I meant that"

Which doesn't really change the point that KL is right.

'Referees get it wrong all the time, so they should have got this one wrong too' is a pretty flimsy argument.

Well the whole "Those are given as fouls all the time therefore that should be a foul" isn't exactly a bad argument...

I suppose Sterling's hand was in a "natural" position which is the easiest way to judge (and seems to be the only way to judge) if it was deliberate

The only person that knows its deliberate is the player himself.

Stupid from Killgallon there, Sturridge was never getting to that.

Well yes but deliberate hand balls are also fairly easy to tell from accidental ones, you cant deliberately handle a ball that you cant even see coming.

Think Liverpool will struggle in the replay, it'll be a lot tougher than the Bolton game.

Be just as tough for Blackburn though because they'll have to try and win the game, they didn't really try at all in the 2nd half so was always going to be tough to break them down

Hopefully we'll have our first choice back 3 on for most of the game in the second leg, instead of our second 3 like most of today.

But yeah, we were poor.

We can play similarly, but next time we'll have King back and his pace so when we do get possession, we can play it over the top like we did against Stoke as well as up to Rudy

Great defensive effort today, limited them to very few clear chances.

I'm quite pessimistic about tonight, not sure why. Hoping it's a great game but I bet it'll be tense. 1-0 the score, not sure who will win.

Come on United!
