Bit of a disappointing lack of upsets really - Sheffield United win lots of Cup games, and QPR tend to exit them at the earliest possible opportunity, so I was expecting that, if not quite a 3-0. Maybe the next round might provide something a bit more out there.
Cabella apparently lost the plot with Anita at some point during the game, I missed it.

He gave him a simple 5 yard pass and Anita miscontrolled the ball under no pressure at all.

It was near where I sat (in with the homes) and I remember Cabella did look fucked off that the ball landed with Anita, who lost it. Cabella did look increasingly annoyed near the end that he was being asked to do virtually all of the running, and had nobody in support. Riviere in particular was appalling.
Fletcher and Savage absolutely wanking themselves raw over Pardew and Palace as if they were the fucking underdogs throughout that match.

What a shite commentary team, sums up BT's football personnel really, except Jake Humphrey, please leave Jake before it's too late!

They were on 606 all the way home on Saturday and Savage in particular was an irritating shitehawk.

I was hoping for Dover to win as I've found the media's joy at Pardew leaving Newcastle irritating - not least given they were the ones trying to hound him for his headbutt - but evidently I backed the wrong horse in this one. Spurs next Saturday might be the harder comedown for them.

Humphrey should never have left BBC's F1 team, but money talks.

That and the fact BBC lost half the live races.

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth is a very decent chance for an upset.

Cambridge vs Man Utd will probably be like Yeovil. Although an upset in that one would be quite something.

None of those reasons are why he left. He just didn't want to travel anymore, his wife just gave birth iirc

He was terrible against Leicester as well and scored both goals, of course though you get people coming along saying we shouldn't be letting him go but it's the right time for it, and he'll more than likely be back on loan next season anyway

If Barkley actually passed the ball he might be a half decent player

Been woeful for quite a while. His assist for Jack Colback in Everton's defeat at our place was quite something.

The commentators/pundits didn't even mention that, it was always a "lucky break" for Colback

Surprised Aston Villa/Bournemouth isn't being televised, great chance of an 'upset' there.

Would have been if it would have been at Millwall no doubt, but one they're not even through yet (and i doubt they will) and two it keeps the trouble off the TV.

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Jones, Rojo, Blind, Valencia, Carrick, Fellaini, Januzaj, Di Maria, Wilson, Falcao

Looks like we're playing 4-4-2. Also watching football on a Friday night feels weird. But good weird

Or 3-5-2 with a back 3 of Rojo-Blind-Jones and Januzaj wingback

Or a diamond with Januzaj a number 10.

because a team of players that are almost exclusively 6ft plus won a header from a corner?

Not the best match in the world so far.
