Keown is bad, but Shearer is just painful.

We haven't been great, but Cambridge definitely haven't been 'fantastic'. They've had one chance, other than that they've run at our defence and lost the ball every time.

Pretty standard FA Cup tie against a lower league side to be fair. Dire game though.

BBC's commentary team is painful, but obviously they're pandering to the 90% of people who want Cambridge to win.

United have been pretty shite. So slow, thought Wilson would've dragged defenders away more

From what i've seen the tactics seem to be get the ball wide and cross it into the area so the far taller Cambridge players can clear the ball away. Suppose if you do something enough its gotta work at some point, but doesn't make a lot of sense to me, plus Cambridge don't look particularity good if Utd were to try and pass through them.

Also surely Carrick can take a better corner than Jones?

He probably can't.

We're really, really shit at corners as a team and have been for a while. I suspect the reason he's taking them is he's the best right footed taker on the pitch. I mean we literally had Nani smashing it into the first man for at least 3 years every corner. Thats how bad we are at them.

The only thing I can ever remember him doing from them is running head first into someone and dislocating his shoulder.

Di Maria's corners have been awful, so I'm not really bothered about Jones taking them.

Glad Herrera is on now, why he's barely starting I have no idea.

What a shoddy game its been, only a handful of chances and now Cambridge are just 18minutes away from a replay!

They were quite poor against Yeovil in the last round iirc, this sounds no difference.

Very poor.

I don't really understand the point of Michael Carrick at the minute. It seems like every third pass has to be to him and he's playing as safe as I can ever remember him doing and at a complete pedestrian pace. Doesn't seem to do anything defensively either anymore.

Also I'm 90% sure that that 'excellent goalkeeping' was the keeper coming out, missing the ball and two fist punching RVP In the face.

We were poor. Januzaj and Rojo were probably our best performers, whereas Jones was dreadful. Wish we'd start Herrera more, what's going on with him? Great little player. On the whole we were very lacklustre.

Because Fergie never drew against a lower league side in the cup. Jamie Jackson coming out with his usual shit.

They were jizzing over the 'double save', admittedly the second one was decent (although would have been cleared off the line any way) but the first one he literally did nothing.

Rojo's coming on leaps and bounds. Its the exact sort of game that he struggled with to start with here, but he was so much more aggressive coming for the ball in the air tonight. Physically and technically he's got a chance to mix it with the best in the game, not certain about him mentally yet, but it kinda makes him more loveable.

As for Herrera, I really don't think he's been that impressive. He's positionally very poor defensively, and very error prone in every aspect of his game. Capable of the sublime too, obviously, just not consistent throughout a game. Highlight reel player at the minute, but he's clearly got the talent.

There's just too much deadweight. Valencia continues to be appalling, Fellaini (whilst better) still isn't good enough to play as a midfielder here, Falcao is just a pale imitation of himself, Carrick is back to being kinda pointless.

And don't get me started on Jones, I had such high hopes for him this season. He's actually regressed on the ball somehow, I don't even know how he's done it. He's appalling.

I know moneys not the answer but we need to finish the job of the clear out we started last season. Valencia, Evans, Jones, Young, Fellaini, Anderson, Fletcher can and should all go.

No idea what the attendance is but going by the TV there looks about 500 people at Blackburn. Swansea are down to 10 men but lead through a Sigurdsson Golazo.

3-1 in the end! Good result although them having 10 men for basically the entire game was a big help. Thought Swansea were pretty poor though.

Few goals in the 3pm games, Southampton 2-2 Palace namely, West Brom 2-0 up at Birmingham.

Brilliant performance by us today!! Obviously them going down to 10 men helped but we played well and Bowyer used his subs well The attendance was disappointing just 5,920 but I was there and the people who stayed away should be dissapointed.
