Yeah but we are getting like between 30-40K attendance per game (lowest was against Norwich around 28K) Only games we get close to maximum is against our rivals unfortunately. So in long run we need to compete in Champions League regularly each season to max out our capacity.
Yeah, he has already scored for us on his debut against Newcastle But will be missing now as Egypt called him up for African Nations

I hope we will be in CL next few seasons hopefully.
Yeah I will be also losing Honda to AFC Asian Cup
Even if you find a world class regens from Africa?

I do see where you coming from there, I tends to do the same by buying them cheap and sell them high.
Johno
Latest addition to the team. I quite look the look of his stats, fairly quick player. Costing me 350K. Decided to bring him in as we're short on LM as we only got Jarvis and Podolski (who will be playing striker)
Putting him on crossing training.
Johno
He's back at Everton Martinez just took Juventus job.

Haha No surprise. He haven't managed a club since he got sacked by Newcastle.

That does worry me in short term. Just hope we can play in CL over the seasons to gain income to cover that.

I'm delighted to have signed Vida for 6M. Already pushed Reid out of the starting XI.

January 2017
Very happy with our unbeaten month til Man City game
Kicked off 2017 with a 4-1 win over Newcastle. We went behind on second minute of the game after some reason Aurtenetxe, decided to boot the ball out to corner where there wasn't anyone with him, which we failed to clear their corner and Rivière, slammed it into top corner. Then we ran the show afterwards and with goals from brace from Lukas and Jarvis send us 3-1 in front at half time, I decided to take Lukas off and handed Walid Abdel Azim his debut for us and scored his first goal in second half, he could have scored when he literally came on but hit the post.
Rested few players for our match against West Brom. Another match we dominated but once again, we fell behind on 6 minutes with long range shot from Dorrans. Goals from Jarvis, Kana-Biyik and Azim in first half was enough to see us progress to fifth round.
We smashed Blackburn, 3-1. Jarvis got us in front with a strike from inside the box which hit the post and went in. Blackburn was on level terms on 61st minutes through Macheda after poor marking from Kana-Biyik to let him score. Late goals from Thomsen and Podolski saw us pick up another win in a row.
Rested Lozano and Honda as both was knackered. Played Trippier and Sigurosson in their place. Which both got their name on score sheet to beat Leicester
Trippier got us in front on 22nd minutes after his shot was deflected in by their defender. Sigurosson scored his first goal for us with his trademark free kick from 22 meters \o/
Early goals from Matt Jarvis and Honda saw us beat Burton Albion.
Was tough match against Stoke who seems to be our bogey team. Sigurosson got us in front on sixteen minutes with another free kick from 20 meters Podolski double our lead on 24th minutes, after Noble nicked the ball off Gibson and passed it to Sigurosson and through pass it to Podolski to score.
Got his second goal on 67th minutes by getting onto Aaron Lennon's pass to put the game to bed.
GUTTED. That's all I can say. We went 2-0 up quite early on. Mistake from Gomez, let them pull a goal back. Then Man City took the lead with 2 quick goals on 75th and 78th minutes. Honda managed to score for us to level the score at 3-3. Until wanker Nasri got the winning goal in injury time to send us home with nothing. Disappointed as no body was marking him.
Barclays Premier League table
Quite happy where we are in the league, would have been even more happier if we was 5th. Man City has a game in hand over us and they just lost 2-0 to Swansea
FA Cup 5th Round draw
Happy with our draw
Transfers news
Decided to sell Arijan Ademi to Genoa for 8M. He never was at his best for us and others was outperforming him even my regens.
Johno
Spent 8M on this guy, rated 4 stars by my scouts. I got high hopes for him, OM wanted to have him back on loan for the season which I accepted. I was after him for ages and they wanted 20M for him which I left him for few months after and surprisingly we got him cheap.
Here is his scout report

Thanks SBR Quite happy with our signings especially Vida, tempting to sell Reid or Kana-Biyik in the summer.
Impressed with Clemete and hopefully we can turn him into world class striker. Scored 15 goals in 45 games for OM since 2013/14 season, not bad for 19 years old.

I will probably start new thread soon-ish.
Thanks Dan Gutted about Man City result tho, biggest turning point was Gomez's mistake which lea to their first goal

February 2017
Poor month for us
Lost 3-1 to Chelsea, with Chelsea getting 2 late goals courtesy to Tomkins's own goal and Gomez mistake.
Disappointed to lose to Dortmund, we managed to hold them to a 0-0 at half time and Timo Horn came back to haunt us with some beautiful saves Dortmund was awarded a penalty after fucking Gomez tripped up Sneijder which Reus stepped up to give them the only goal.
Another poor performance, We threw away 2 goals lead against Bolton ffs. Their second goal came from Leali's mistake after he parried their free kick.
Much better performance from the team. Matt Jarvis put us in the lead on 15th minutes with an strike inside the box after running onto Podolski's pass. Podolski got our second goal on 70th minutes, smashing the ball into the net in the middle of the box after pass from Jarvis. 4 minutes later we was awarded a penalty after West Brom's Moti tripped up Podolski, which Noble converted to give us the win.
Another gash performance against Bolton, dropped Leali for Howes who did very well in goal for us. Disappointed it took us extra time to beat them, even we dominated the game.
Honda gave us the lead, heading in Lennon's cross on 23rd minutes. Bolton pulled one back on 50th minutes through Sanmi Odelusi, but he was tad offside Aaron Lennon got us the winning penalty after being fouled in the box, which Noble scored to see us go through to next round.
We played better then the scoreline suggested. But Timo Horn was in fine form once again Dortmund was playing Kevin Großkreutz as striker when he is natural at right back. He got hat trick against us
Overall I'm happy we got to Knockout Round in Champions League. Unlike Benfica who got dicked by Barcelona, 10-2 on agg
Barclays Premier League table
We now got 2 games in hands and hope we can take advantage of it.
FA Cup 6th Round draw
Happy with this draw.
Lukas Podolski is wanted by VfL Wolfsburg and I did turn down 4M offer for him in January. I'm not sure what to do either keep him or sell him and fast track few youngsters into first XI? Any advice? He's now 31 and on 105 p/w wages.
Gendo
I feel like if you want to phase him out, start shifting some younger guys in and see how they do. If they aren't coming close to Podolski, then you just have to tough it out wage wise until you find someone that can to replace him.
Solid form in league far, and great FA Cup draw too.
Dan
Johno
Haha I do like him as he's banging goals for us I got few youngsters out on loan who's doing well for their club, especially Paul Hassan who out on loan to Dundee United and is currently top scorer for them.
Happy to see us still in FA Cup Yes, we were expected to lose but Horn was tough to beat in both legs. Dortmund got cracking players in their team, no shame in losing to them.
Their team. They also sitting top in Bundesliga.
Johno
Pretty happy with our youth intakes this season
HOYD rated him very highly.
Not bad player but disappointed he got low determination.
Very promising defender.
Surprisingly he came through and he's South African I like the look of his stats.
Very promising keeper, surprisingly he's not rated highly.

March 2017
We started the month with 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, Sigurðsson put us in front on 20th minutes after ghosted through the box and ran onto Podolski's pass to score. Got miffed as Vida got booked on 47th minutes and 2 minutes later, ending up fouling one of their player to get sent off. Took Honda off for Hernandez who made his debut for us and played well. Podolski got our second goal after heading in from Sigurðsson's cross.
Disappointed to lose to Arsenal as they got lucky Their first goal was from Ozil's shot which hit the crossbar and Welbeck reacted quickly to score on 40th minutes. Their second goal was from Merstacker's head which also hit the crossbar from corner and De Vrij also reacted the quickest ffs. Their last goal was from Depay, which was a long range shot after Noble stupid enough gave the ball to him and bang, goal.
Was tough against Palace as they was really defensive against us. around 70th minutes, I changed our mentality to counter and which paid off in the end with Podolski getting the winner \o/
Brilliant win over Liverpool. I started the match with control mentality. We went behind on 11th minutes with Lozano slicing Henderson's shot into the net. Thomsen level the score for us after his first shot was parried by their goalkeeper few minutes later. Podolski got his first goal on 29th minutes by smashing into the top corner from Thomsen's pass. Liverpool equlise on 35th minutes through Balotelli.
At half time I switched to attacking to keep the pressure on them which also paid off with Podolski striking from 15 meters to give us the win.
Two early goals in first half from Podolski and Thomsen saw us beat Swansea.

FA Cup Semi final draw
Meh, hope we can do them over on the day! Other tie is Liverpool v Spurs.
