I know he's made a few high profile mistakes as of late, but has his overall game really been that bad? I can't really judge.

First, that quotes been proven bullshit. David Platt wasn't even on Al-Jazeera yesterday.

As for Hart, yes and know, his distribution is and always has been shit but since that Dortmund game, his shot stopping and his concentration seem to have started to slowly decline as well. I'm not sure we need to buy a new keeper but we sure as shit need to drop him for a couple of games.

Three's been some hilarious transfers in recent times like that. Personal favourites are us getting £12m for Mikel despite him never playing for us and Vitória de Guimarães getting £7.5m for 2 months of having Bebe. Bebe for crying out loud.

We essentially paid for them to sign a younger, more Belgian defender for free

This seems to be the design of the stadium expansion:

City players and staff dip into their own pockets to halve cost of away games for fans
9 Oct 2013 17:04
The cost of Manchester City's away games this season will be halved after everyone at the club put their own money in to help subsidise the matches.

In an unprecedented move Manuel Pellegrini, his players and coaches have each shelled out a figure - believed to be around £1,000 - so the club can offer half price tickets to season ticket holders at selected matches throughout the campaign.

It is understood that the games furthest away or matches that take place within a few days of each other will be prioritised.

The Blues, along with other Premier League clubs, set aside £200,000 to improve experiences at away matches for supporters.

Yesterday United announced they would use the money to knock £4 off the cost of tickets at matches on the road.

But City would appear to have taken things further with a five-figure sum added to the £200,000 from first-team players and coaching staff.

Pretty good gesture, that.

Aye I saw Newcastle would offer £20 away tickets for clubs who did the same back to them. Good to see from clubs like.

Superb gesture and all clubs should follow suit to show the fans the appreciation they deserve (Millwall and West Ham withstanding)
