We're being linked to Felipe Anderson. Whats the opinion of him among regular Serie A watchers? Fair to say the reception among our fans has been very mixed.

Very talented, but inconsistent.

Was excellent last season, underwhelming this one. Has quality when he shows up but as already mentioned he's highly inconsistent. Doesn't work overly hard so when he isn't getting the ball he contributes little else.

Juan Iturbe reportedly joined Bournemouth on loan from Roma with a view to a permanent move in the summer. That could be a great signing for them!

Isco Would love to see him in the Prem. Not sure attacking midfielders is an area City need to be spending on, however!

Demari Grey to Leicester for £3.7m is some tremendous business.

Possibly, although there's a reason he's gone to Bournemouth and no bigger clubs were interested.

Did really well at Verona but barely anything at Roma, technically good but not really effective at all. Hope he does well though.

SSN apparently said we're closer to signing Felipe Anderson. From what I've read about him I'm incredibly skeptical, especially if it's £35M.

That'd be far, far too much yeah. Half it and he'd be worth a punt.

True, but I don't think similar moulded "rejects" that have gone to Stoke in recent times have done too badly. Hoping Iturbe can do similar at Bournemouth.

Well he's not going to turn around and say the old Madrid manager is better than the current one is he

Well no, but you wouldn't call him the best manager the club has had under a month into the season.

You'd say Real Madrid have had loads of great managers in the past, or something along those lines, not make a bold statement like that only to dump him in six months. It's come back to haunt him and he looks more an idiot than usual.

Rafa got fuck all support in his time at the club, Perez has made a right mess of it. I'd be surprised if Zidane is any better than him.

Its mental that he's been sacked really, they're 4 points off top spot, top scorers in the league and only lost 3 games all season, not sure how Zidane will do any better.

Not really, the fans hated him, the players hated him, the club hated him. It's more of a surprise he lasted this long.

The mental thing was him being appointed in the first place. Agree about Zidane, but they've burnt through everyone else.

Not being funny though, I reckon my mum could take that Real Madrid side to third and she'd probably bench Ronaldo just so she could sit next to him.

Zidane in as gaffer will either be a stroke of genius or an act of total lunacy.

Could go either way.

But that's always going to happen at Madrid/Barca, people moan about BPL losing quality, but there's about 5 good teams in BBVA, the rest is garbage.
He did also win the CL group easily (although again an easy group), only thing that went wrong is that 4-0 against Barca.
It's probably the worst job in football.

Well yeah, you can spin it that way. Alternatively you can say he's failed to beat anyone of note (lost to Barca and 4th placed Villarreal, drew to Atletico) other than PSG who, by all accounts, outplayed Madrid in both games.

I'm not saying that he deserves to be sacked or anything, just that he's really done nothing to endear himself to an already sceptical fan base and would have needed a pretty spectacular first 6 months to avoid this.

Any chance of him being successful there?
