Arsenal are playing well, but christ Everton really are woeful. I'm not surprised about this btw.

You just know what Wengers thinking now, "no need to sign a striker in the summer"

Every year it's the same: fuck up the title challenge but quite easily get top four with a late surge of form. Everything's fine, there's no need to spend!
Huge boos at HT. Martinez won't be the manager next season.
Grimnir
Even if they manage to win the FA Cup?

Maybe. But after I read that open letter to him from Everton fans I don't think he's wanted there.
Shola
But yeah par for the course - super football manager Roberto Martinez holistically kicking people in the head.

Four 1-0 wins in their last five games. If we don't win tomorrow then I think the title race is pretty much over.
BR.
Massive win for Norwich that. Can't wait for the Newcastle-Sunderland game tomorrow, always look forward to those two playing each other but should be even better tomorrow given the importance.
Shedender
Could care less about entertaining the neutrals, we just need to end our retched form against that lot.
BR.
Yeah, 6 straight defeats and 1 goal scored (I think) in that time is pretty horrendous.

Even moreso given Norwich got a belated clean sheet and win away. Winning there in 2 weeks is also a must.
Shola
ie any injury prone or aging player can just claim discrimination?

And we dominated the derby earlier in the season but somehow we lost 3-0 when we should've won convincingly. Of course the red card (which was later reminded?) played a massive part at 0-0 but still . . .
Really hope we can end the drought against this lot and pick up much needed maximum points but I'm not overly confident.

And yes, Coloccini's red card in that one was rescinded. We then got fined for failing to control our players after that decision... work that one out.
I think these are exceptional circumstances, hence the suit. There's a difference between cancer and merely injury-prone. Plus, tbf, given we kept Gouffran and Marveaux instead, he would've been more useful.

Newcastle: Eliot, Janmaat, Mbemba, Lascelles, Colback, Sissoko, Shelvey, Townsend, Wijnaldum, Perez, Mitrovic
Subs: Anita, Cisse, de Jong, Saivet, Darlow, Taylor, Riviere
Glad Taylor's not playing as he was poor enough (in my opinion at least) against Leicester on Monday night, still not confident though in picking up a point, never mind three but I'd love to be proved wrong - cannot go seven straight defeats against Sunderland, would be a massive blow.
Just seen we actually haven't beaten Sunderland since August 2011 when Ryan Taylor scored the winner.
