Oxford deserved that. Good game and good performance from the L2 clan.

Harsh on Leicester, that was a shocking decision.

Fair play to Appleton at Oxford, doing really well down there and sounds like they play good football too which is a bit of a surprise having witnessed the 'football' we played under him (albeit only for a couple of months).

Absolutely thrilled for Oxford, and delighted that Northampton and Portsmouth have replays with the chance at progressing.

We're away at Colchester in the 4th round if we beat Leicester in the replay. Might try and get to that if it happens, not too far for me to travel.

I was thinking about trying to go to that one too, if Spurs win. Work with a few Spurs fans and Colchester stadium is easy to get too.

Yeovil COULD have a home tie with Everton in the fourth round if we can beat Carlisle at home in the replay next Tuesday!

Away to Southampton in the third round two years ago,
home to Man United in the third round last year,
potentially home to Everton in the fourth round this year, that'd be cool!

Liverpool/Exeter have a home tie against West Ham

No doubt Derby will really fancy their chances against us.

This is a disgrace.

We'd have won the first game but for a disgrace of a display from the referee. We'd be clear in this but for a disgrace of a display from the referee. Instead of being through easily after one game, as it should have been, we're backs to the wall with 10 men for over an hour after a red card that was never, ever a professional foul.

It's mad. Teams like Reading get away with murder. They got away with everything at our place. Three should - not could, SHOULD - have walked before they got back in the game through three gifts from the referee and we should have been a mile clear. The first thing ours does isn't a card, never mind a red, and he ends up down the tunnel.

We won't hold on. Ref won't let us. He'll do something else. Mark my words.

Never mind. Cheating bastard has had his way. 3-2 down from 2-0 up before the cunt ruined it. Hope someone from our backroom staff chins him in the tunnel after and he never refs again.

Oliver Langford, after Jeremy Simpson shafted us in the first game. The first game was one of the worst refereeing displays I've ever seen - I tried to stay calm and level-headed after it, but it was an absolute joke. One of their players gave one of ours a two-handed push in the back of the head five yards away from the linesman and didn't even get a booking, Nahki Wells got booked for a dive in the box that that... well...

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CYhlwVHWEAA6e1A.jpg

I mean, he's only got two arms around Nahki's leg and nearly snapped his ankle in two, so it's an easy mistake to make. That would have been a red card and a penalty at 1-0 to Town after a dominant display.

Then he went on to gift Reading both their goals through missing fouls on Town players before awarding us a debatable 90th minute penalty to take it to a replay.

You knew this would happen in the replay. Before the red card we're dominant again and 2-0 up. After it - it's so debatable even the BBC says it's harsh (the BBC never ever comments unless it's pretty clear cut), Reading are back in it against 10. Not arguing against the foul, it'd still be 2-1 from the free-kick. I am saying it's a dreadful decision and it happens what feels like every year to knock us out of the cup.

4-2 to them now. Vydra hat-trick. It's hard not to feel that there's some kind of conspiracy sometimes. That's the way it's gone with officials in the cup over the last few years. You may recall the Dale Stephens two-footed shocker on Adam Hammill that went unpunished at 0-0 a couple of years back.

Now 5. Fitness probably a lot to do with that. With 11 we're one of the fittest sides going. With 10 for over an hour after Saturday-Tuesdaying for several weeks it's always a tough ask. Shouldn't have been here to start with. Feel thoroughly cheated.

I don't think Liverpool v Exeter will be much of a contest (unless Exeter take the lead or something, that'd make it interesting), I'd go with Leicester-Spurs.

Watch the Leicester v Tottenham game then turn over to catch the last 15 mins of the other match and Liverpool's lap of honour celebrating their victory over Exeter at full time.

Still crying about this? Haha

Good showing from Liverpool's youngsters again tonight, was wary of the squad Klopp chose but it's worked!

Nevermind, car broke down and I was stuck waiting 2 hours plus for the RAC...

Seen the Spurs goals though, decent enough. Tempted by the trip to Colchester to see that fixture. Hopefully the car would make it!
